First day

Today was your first day back at school
Great....not
You dreaded today because of him...Dominic.
Dominic Harrison to be exact
You two weren't the best of friends and he would always tease you and humiliate you.
You wondered why he hated you because you did absolutely nothing wrong.
But he was that kid.
The one who didn't care about anyone or anything but themselves.
He had a small friend group of three others, Adam,Tom and Michael.
They'd always laugh when Dom would do something like smack a book out of someone's hand or something, but they'd never do anything, so Dom was like the leader of the pack.

ALEX'S POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm on my phone, i slowly sat up in bed and stretched. I looked around my room and out the window. It was really bright. It was then that I realised that I had school that day, and I had to face Dom and his idiot mates again after a month of school break.
I hated Dom, everyone did, because he's a bully. No one can even enjoy a day of school being around him, let alone even being in year 10.

As I got out of bed, I noticed my bedroom a mess, I hadn't cleaned it because I had no time because of being so worried all the time so after school I'd have my tea and then I'd sleep, pretty boring.
I got out of bed and looked for some clothes to wear, unlike other schools in the uk, our school allows us to wear whatever we want, which is pretty cool to be honest because I hate school uniform, just the same boring clothes everyday, it doesn't let us express ourselves.
I chose an outfit I hadn't worn before, because I'd just bought some new clothes for school, I wore some camo cargo pants, a black t shirt, some nike trainers and a black MCR hoodie, I kinda liked the new style.before putting them on, I took a quick shower and washed my hair.
When I got out I went back in my room and put on my clothes. I checked the time on my phone "8;00" I had half an our to eat breakfast and leave to get there before 8:45.

I walked out of my room and went down stairs to see my mum in the kitchen making something
"Hi honey, good morning, im making some pancakes for breakfast, want some?"
"Mmm, yeah, smells nice thank you" I replied, I walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek and then went into the living room to watch something on tv before eating.

I waited about 15 minutes before I heard my mum say "breakfast is ready Alex!"
"Okay mum!"
I paused the tv, got up and walked to the kitchen
"Put some sugar on them darling"
"Okay thank you mum"

I sat down with a plate of 3 pancakes and some sugar on them, I checked the clock, I had about 10 minutes to eat so I could get my bag and wait for the bus.
Once I finished, I got up and went to the sink to put my plate in it.
"Right, I gotta go pack and wait for the bus, love you mum"
"Love you too honey, have a good day at school"

I went upstairs and got my phone to see I had a notification on my phone, it was a message off my friend Remi.

Remi🖤: heyyyyy morning, omg I don't wanna go to school todayyyy I HATE Dom!!! Why he gotta be like that, he's literally gonna ruin my day, I swear if he comes near me I'm gonna beat his ass😡🥊

Me: lol yeah I know, I'd do that too but I can't fight lol 😂
Has the bus picked you up yet btw?

Remi🖤: yeah it has it's almost at your place HURRY UP!!

Me: okay okay I'm going calm down love you

Remi🖤:love you!

I put my phone in my pocket and started to pack my bag, once I was done, I looked out the window to see the school bus arriving outside my house. I hurried downstairs, waved bye to my mum and walked out the door.

I ran to the bus and the doors opened and said hi to our driver
"Hi Lindsey, how are ya?"
"Not bad how are you? Like your outfit!"
"Hah thank you I'm okay thank you"
And with that I walked up the stairs and looked for a seat at the back where Remi was
"Hi Alex! I've missed you!"
"Hi"
I sat down next to her
"Ooooh trying a new style? Like it!"
"Oh yeah hah, I went shopping with my mum"

We talked until we noticed the bus came to a stop but it was a little while until it started going again, when it did start going, we could hear loud steps up the stairs and we new it was Dom...oh no
