Alex's POV:

I ran over to Remi and sat down, i surprised her abit but she said "what did he say?"
I told her about everything we talked about and his songs. She basically had the same reaction as me, I really wanted to learn more about him.

We both went back to class and Dominic was his weird giddy self. When the school day was over I decided to ask him something. I saw him standing at the exit of the school with one leg on the wall. He was smoking a cigarette, I'm guessing he was waiting for his friends.
"Hey Dom." He shot a glance at me with a blank face. "What?" Was all he said.
I stood there awkwardly for a few seconds before saying, "well, I just thought maybe we could-" he cut me off. "Ayy Adam what's up man" I turned around and saw Adam right behind me waking to Dom.
"See ya" he said to me before walking off the other Dom. Really? I just wanted to ask if he wanted to talk more. I guess not though.

I walked back home by myself because Remi had detention and told me not to wait. When I got home I greeted my mum with a "hey" she said hey back and I went upstairs to change. I was thinking about Dom and how he can hurt my feelings, like when he just blanked me earlier. I still wanna find out what's up with him. He writes really nice songs, I only know one of them, well, what it's about anyway, I wanna gain his trust enough for him to let me hear it because I can he's a really nice person.

I went down stairs to eat dinner and had a chat with my mum for a bit before going upstairs to bed.
The next day, On the way to school, I saw Dominic, wait why's he here? Does he live close? He saw me and started walking over to me. I was really confused because why would he wanna even talk to me? When he stopped he stayed silent for a couple seconds before breaking the silence.
"Listen, I know I can be a dick sometimes and I'm sorry about that." Omg he's apologising "and you're right, we don't have any way out of this sooo I guess I'll just have to. Not that I want to of course but I just uhh." He stopped for a second, I shot him a smirk. He's trying to make it look like he doesn't want to talk to me, I can tell he's just trying to be 'mr cool'
"Whatever, anyway um....lets start walking then. Don't wanna be late." Huh? He's always late. Whatever. We start walking to school and he talks more about his music, he also pulls out his phone at one point. "Here I'll let you listen the song I was talking about yesterday."

He started playing the song

I actually wasn't expecting this, I mean he kinda just looked like some guy who would be an asshole in school. And sometimes he is, not gonna lie, but this song is showing me that he's more than that. He has feelings and he seems like a great guy. The song ended and I saw he was waiting for a response.
"Are you gonna say something or...."
"Yeah, sorry. Dom,that's so good. Like awesome oh my god you wrote that?"
"Uhh yeah I did" he had a slight smile on his face.
"Honestly Dom that is so so cool! You really need to show me more!" I was so excited about it.
"Uhh yeah, I mean. I guess you can come over later and hang out?" He said it more like he was asking a question, I could tell he was still not used to being nice especially to people like me because he doesn't really know me and everyone still knows him as the school bully.
"Yeah sure" I answered with a smile on my face. "That would be awesome"

We walked the rest of the way to school. At one point I thought people would think it's weird because well like I said, dom is a bully and he's walking with me. No one knows me except Remi. We got a few weird looks of course but I decided to just ignore it.
"Okay, I'm gonna go find Adam and Michael yeah?" "Yeah sure no problem, I'll be with Remi" I was about to start walking away when I saw his expression change abit. Then he started talking, "ya know. I don't really like Remi" he paused for a moment. "How long have youse been friends?" I was confused. Why didn't he like her. Shes my best friend. "Umm, since primary school....why?" He looked down and back up again. "Listen I don't mean to be rude but... I think you should watch out for her" I had a very confused look on my face and I was a bit angry I'm not gonna lie. "I just have a bad feeling about her, that's all."
"She's my friend Dom, wether you like her or not. I mean why would you say that?" "We-"He went to speak again but I cut him off. "Ya know what Dom. Save it" I walked off and he didn't say anything else. I looked back and he had kind of an angry look on his face, he then stormed off after making an 'ugh' sound. Why would he say that though? What did she do?

Another chapter. Two in one day wow. Also watch out because there's going to be a big surprise and Remi isn't what you think she might be! 🖤🖤
