Part 7

The next day I sat on my own on the bus, avoiding Alex as I was kinda embarrassed about what had happened the night before. I d get even look at her so I don't know if she looked at me at all. It was hard trying to avoid her but I managed...on the way to school at least. As I took my seat I still didn't look at her. I couldn't even be bothered to mess around. I just wasn't feeling myself today. I started to think about what I said to Alex last night and that I really want to prove that I'm sorry. I need to stop being so disrespectful and angry for no reason. So today I brought my medication for my anger issues and adhd. I took them this morning so I guess that's a start. I saw her walk into class and she took a seat behind me. I kept ignoring her though as she tried to kick my legs from behind to get my attention. I almost snapped at one point but I managed to control myself, for once.
It was like that all the way though to lunch. I was sat at a table listening to what Adam was saying until she come up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder. I froze in my spot and was too scared to turn around but after a few seconds I finally said "what?" I turned around and looked up at her. She rolled her eyes at me and just stared at me. "Adam, Tom. I'll be like two seconds." They stood up from their places and shrugged as they walked away. Alex took a seat next to me.
"So?"
"So what?"
"So...why have you been ignoring me?"
"I've not been ignoring you." I said turning my seat away from her a little and looking at the table.
"We'll, yes you have." She said, putting a hand on the back of my chair. "I've been trying to get your attention all morning, what's up?"
I sighed  "I was thinking about what you said.''
"So?"
"So this morning I took my meds. I was trying to think about what I could do to say I'm sorry."
"I can think of something." She said looking at me.
"Okay what?"
"We'll maybe don't just walk up to people and grab them and start shouting at them." She answered sounding annoyed.
"Hey, I said I'm fucking trying." I rolled my eyes,looking away towards where Adam and Tom was. They were talking to Remi. Shit. I still need to tell her about that.
"Try making friends." She suggested. I looked at her as if she just told me that pineapple belongs on pizza.
"Are you having a laugh?"
"Do I look like I'm laughing to you?" I just rolled my eyes at that. " okay can you stop fucking rolling your eyes, it's getting annoying"
" you're getting annoying" I said under my breath, rolling my eyes again, making sure she can see just to annoy her even more.
She then stood up and muttered a whatever under her breath before walking away probably to find Remi.
