Maggie wakes up to the sun shining through her curtains. Today was the day of a new beginning. She rolled out of bed and went to her closet.
What to wear?
She thought to herself as she searched through her clothes. Finally she had narrowed it down to two options black pants with a white laced crop top. And a leather jacket to go over it. She decided to curl her hair which took her about 30 minutes. Her red hair was very thick. When she was younger she always hated her hair and wanted to dye it. But she had grown to love the rare trait of hers. She made herself some toast with strawberry jam which was her all time favorite. After breakfast she went to brush her teeth. Then it was time for makeup. Other then covering up all her freckles she normally went for a more natural look. People seemed to want and love freckles these days but Maggie had been bullied throughout her childhood because of them. They've always been something she's insecure about. When she was ready she went to go grab her camera but had completely forgot it didn't work.
Her body froze.
What if I don't get the job because of it?
She thought.
She picked up her phone and hesitantly called Harry hoping she would wake him up. The phone rang a few times then there was an answer. "Well good morning flower," Harry said in a groggy morning voice. Maggie cringed feeling bad for waking him up,
"I'm sorry to wake you but for the interview my cameras broken I need a new one and I don't know if I'll have enough m-"
"He said he'll pay for anything you need,"
Harry said cutting her off. Maggie's body filled with relief,
"Really? Thank goodness I was so worried," she said, "maybe if I get the job we'll see each other some." Harry laughed,
"I'm sure I'll see a lot more of you then you think when you get the job."
"What about your boss is he nice or mean? Do you think he'll like me?" Maggie asked.
"In my opinion I think he's a very nice guy and trust me I'm sure he'll love you,"
Harry replied.
They talked for a few more minutes then said their goodbyes. Maggie decided she would go to the post office beforehand. So she started off down the street weaving through people once again. Once she reached it she went inside. She was greeted by the front desk lady,
"Ahh why if it isn't my favorite customer how are you miss Maggie?" She sweetly said.
Maggie gave her a soft smile,
"I'm doing well Miss Pam, we're there any letters for me?" Pam smiled and got up to look in Maggie's cubby. She pulled out a stack of letters and handed them to Maggie.
Maggie took them, thanked Pam and headed out the door. She walked to her favorite spot on the pier next to the water she found a bench and sat. She opened the letter it was from her father. Maggie's father had been in prison her entire life she had never met him, only written to him. Every month he sends her about three different letters. Her mother left right after he was arrested she was embarrassed to have a child with him and didn't want Maggie.
Maggie hadn't heard from her since. She had grown up in and out of foster homes. Even though a part of Maggie was embarrassed by her father the letters were the closest thing she ever had to family. She was also a big introvert she had little to no friends. The way she had opened up to Harry was something she hadn't done in so long. She read the letters, her dad often wrote about stories of his childhood and the regret in the choices he had made and how he wished he could meet her one day. Maggie was never told what her father had done and personally she didn't want to know. She thought it would make her view him differently.
After she finished reading the letters she put them in her bag. Then she sat and watched everything and one around her. Maggie loved seeing very one live their own different lives. She pulled a book out and read for a while. When it was finally getting close to the interview she got ready to head that way. She followed the address Harry had sent her the walk took about 15 minutes. When she got there it was a huge arena. She walked inside and was immediately greeted by a woman.
"Hi there you must me Maggie Owens," she said. Maggie smiled,
"Yes ma'am I'm here for an interview ."
"Yes, however the boss actually has a concert tonight and he thought you should attend to get a feel of what setting you would be photographing in," the lady kindly said.
Maggie was surprised,
"Oh okay yeah that would be amazing."
The lady gave Maggie a VIP lanyard so she could get a front row seat.
"After the concert you can meet him backstage for your interview," she stated.
Maggie nodded and thanked the lady. Then she stopped by the bathroom. She called Harry,
"He wanted me to see him in concert!," she said.
"Really! That's great and it means that he probably has seen your work and is a fan of you!" He said. "Will you be there?" Maggie asked.
Harry was silent for a minute,
"Yes...I should be their but I don't know if I'll be able to sit next to you."
"Ok that's okay I can see you after the concert, thanks again!"
"Your welcome flower," Harry said. Maggie exited the bathroom with her bag and followed the signs that led to the arena. She went down the stairs it felt like she had gone down twenty different stair cases. Then she finally reached the floor. She opened the door and was greeted with thousands of screaming fans. She makes her ways to the pit and finds a security officer walking up to her.
"Your Maggie right?" He asked. Maggie nodded.
"Right his way," he said. Maggie followed him as he weaved through the crowd until they were right in front of the stage.
"Thank you very much," Maggie said. The officer smiled and nodded then walked away.
After a few minutes of waiting the light all turned off and the stage lit up. The crowd cheered everywhere. Then the music started it more up beat song and I hear a voice start singing the girls around me started saying it was Kiwi. The voice was amazing but I couldn't recognize it. Then when he reached her side of the stage she saw him. He looked directly at Maggie. He smirked and waved while singing his heart out. Girls around her started going wild.It was Harry.
This whole time it had been him. He's the famous celebrity, he's his boss. She couldn't believe she didn't catch on sooner. Maggie had a huge smile on her face as she danced along to the music with the girls around her. She never knew one person could have so much talent. She was really enjoying her self. Harry kept smirking and looking at her the girls around her were screaming. She danced and laughed for the whole night. Maggie rarely ever had fun bad that night was the most fun she'd ever had. She felt free. She felt alive.
When Harry was wrapping up the concert he said his goodbyes then looked at her and signaled for her to meet him backstage. Everyone in the crowd started the get up and leave at the same time. She felt like a heard of cattle as she waited in the crowded group. Finally she found the same security guard that had helped her find her seat. He escorted her through the crowd and in some back doors that lead to back stage. Then he took her to Harry's dressing room.
"Thank you, and what's your name?" Maggie asked.
"Your welcome and it's Henry," he said with a kind smile.
Then he turned and walked away. Maggie stood in front of his closed door. She finally knocked. There was shuffling coming from the other side of the door then finally it opens. Harry greets her with a smile and motions for her to come in.
"Hello is it Miss Magnolia Owens?" Harry says in a fancy accent.
Maggie laughs her face Turing red,
"Why didn't you just tell me?" She asked.
"I wanted you to like me for me and not for my fame." Maggie blushed,
"Now I'm ready for my interview." Harry smirks, "Alrighty Miss please have a seat." He motions toward the couch. Maggie sits down her focus on Harry.
"So Miss Owens are you flexible?" Harry asked.
Maggie's eyebrow raises,
"My schedule yes, body no I actually can't even do a cartwheel."
Harry laughed,
"I meant your schedule." Maggie laughed.
"I hope you don't mind spending a lot of time with me because you'll basically be with me all the time," Harry said.
"Your required to travel with me, attend meetings and attend concerts and other events," he added.
Maggie smiled,
"It's always been my dream to travel and I don't think I could get tired of you."
"...at least not yet," Maggie laughed.
Harry smiled,
"Well Miss Owens then all that's left to do is deem you official photographer of Harry Styles Live on Tour," his smile grew,
"welcome to the team."
