Chapter 14

"Fuck! Moonbyul!"

Yongsun yelled as she looks (or glare) at byul as they both hide their bodies on the kitchen counter while yongsun was holding the lid of the pan and byul was holding the spatula. They're like a soldier hiding from their enemy's bullets to save their life.

"I'm sorry!" Byul simply apologized.

The thing is, they've decided to make something to eat when they planned to watch movies. Byul volunteered on cooking the popcorn while yongsun was assigned to order a pizza. And as yongsun was busy tapping her phone in the living, she heard byul screamed from the kitchen.

The girl panic thinking something might happen to the girl, and as she runs towards the kitchen, she sees byul hiding under the counter while holding a spatula.

Turns out, byul forgot to put the lid in the pan she's using, resulting for the kernels to popped wildly in the air continuously.

Yongsun run to get the lid and tried to cover the pan but the more she went closer, the more the popcorns attack. Now they're both hiding from the counter just to avoid the popcorn's wrath.

When the popping sound was over, byul and yongsun slowly took a peek at the pan just to see it was now empty. The popcorns are scattered all around the floor and yongsun just shook her head in disbelief.

"We can still eat it. Ancestors believe that food on the ground takes 5 minutes before the germs take over." Byul suggests, a teasing smile forms on her lips while scratching her head in embarrassment.

Yongsun rolled her eyes while groaning out of frustration and walks away from the kitchen. She didn't even realize she's still holding the lid.

"Yongsun, the lid.."

"Shut up!"

Now byul can tell yongsun was so done with her.

After byul cleaned up her mess, she saw yongsun sitting on the couch with a box of pizza on the table. There is also a bag of popcorn beside the soda and she guess the girl just order everything since the one she cooked messed up.

"You clean so slow I've been waiting for forever." Yongsun stated when she saw byul approaching towards her direction. Byul on the other hand just rolled her eyes and take a seat beside yongsun.

It didn't take a minute before yongsun get the remote and play the movie she decided to watch.

"Moana? Really?" Byul said as if she's teasing yongsun's movie taste.

Despite the tease, yongsun remains silent and ignored byul as she gets a slice of pizza and shoves it inside byul's mouth, which of course, byul protests but laughs afterward.

The movie lasted for more than an hour and a half, and byul realize she enjoyed watching the movie even if her eyes sometimes get attracted to the girl's side profile.

Yongsun was so engrossed in the show. Byul didn't saw her moved, let alone blink. She was amazed at how the girl concentrates, how she sings when the character sings, and how she cheered Moana's team when they're fighting Te Ka; a demon of the earth and fire.

"Byul, I'm hungry.."

That's what yongsun said after the movie ends making byul look at her in disbelief. Yongsun just smiles at how byul reacts.

"You serious? We just ate a whole ass pizza and popcorn by ourselves yet you're still hungry?"

Yongsun ignored her and stretched her arms up in the air. She even twisted her body as if she's exercising and without asking permission, yongsun simply lay down on the couch while her head is placed on byul's lap.
