"You heartless piece of shit!"

That's all byul yelled after she saw eric holding an AMT Hardballer pistol while walking towards her direction with a conceited smile on his face. Earlier, if byul was the one having fun with how they talk, now, eric was sure he won this round just by how byul gritted her teeth as if she's ready to charge at him anytime if she's free.

Byul holds her breath when eric points the gun at her head with no sign of remorse as if he's certainly planning to kill byul in the very first place. The latter was afraid for sure. Who wouldn't if a crazy man threatens to kill you like that? But she chose to calm her breathing, eyes still sparkle with braveness and proving eric that she's not afraid to be killed even in the hands of her own father.

"Now now, don't be too aggressive. I'm just kidding, I won't do anything bad if you do what I told you to do. It's just as simple as that."

Eric laughs as he retreated the gun back to his side then blows the muzzle like the pistol is a lighting candle. Moonbyul on the other hand took deep breaths and roam her eyes at the place hoping she can find something that can help her escape, but all she sees is darkness.

Eric was back at his previous seat again, slightly humming a song, and has an arrogant smirk plastered on his face. It all takes for byul not to kick his annoying face, or dislocate his jaw, or kill him completely.

"So? What's your answer?" Eric arrogantly stated.

Byul has two options, either do what her father requested, or die. She can actually consider the first than the latter, yet there is a part of her saying that she should stay and don't listen to the man.

"How can you be so cruel!" Byul yelled, eyes starting to moist.

She doesn't want to cry or to be weak just like the old times, but the thought of eric killing her because of a selfish and foolish reason breaks her heart into tiny pieces.

"I'm doing this for my daughter-"

"And I'm your fucking daughter too!"

Eric fell silent, before he looks at byul with a slight smile.

"Well... are you?"

One short uncertain response yet it's enough for byul to froze at her seat while looking at eric with bewildered eyes. Eric on the other hand fell quiet but still breathing fine after the truth escaped from his mouth. He stares at byul confused expression and he can tell she wants to know the truth just by how her eyebrows meet.

"W-What do you mean?" Byul asks, devastated.

Eric stood up and kicked the chair in the side, emitting a loud sound when it collided with the wall resulting for byul to flinch a little. He round the girl's chair as if he's a shark rounding its prey, still thinking if he should tell byul the truth behind his hate towards the girl. But he slipped already, even if he doesn't tell, byul is still smart enough to know what eric is trying to say.

"What I mean is.." Eric paused, stopping infront of byul who's expression is willing to seek some answer. Releasing a deep sigh, eric continues without looking away from the eyes of the girl who thought they are family. "..I'm not your father." He added.

Byul's expression can't easily be perceived that Eric is having a hard time deciphering the girl's thoughts. The thick tension they felt before became thicker than both of their blood combine and the only sound byul can hear is the erratic beat of her heart.

She wants to open her mouth to atleast utter some decent response, but every time she tried, she can only gasp as if she's not capable of communicating like a normal person.
