Hagrid picked up the book then he opened it to read.

~Chapter 4 The Keeper of the Keys~

Dorea smiled excitedly. Only this chapter and one more before they got to the good stuff. Well, if you think of her near death experiences as the good stuff.

~BOOM.~

Ayano flinched from Hagrid shouting and took her hearing aids out. She nudged Percy with her foot so he would translate for him. Hagrid's beard made it hard for Ayano to lip read.

~hey knocked again. Dudley jerked awake.

"Where's the cannon?" he said stupidly.~

"Cannon?" Arthur asked.

"Muggle thing." Lily told him, not really wanting to explain. James leaned over to quietly explain.

~There was a crash behind them and Uncle Vernon came skidding into the room. He was holding a rifle~

"You brought a rifle around my baby!?" Lily shrieked and she got up. James pulled her back down.

"Yeah, it was loaded most of the time. That should scream paranoid then I dont know what does." Dorea laughed.

"Ayano surrounding herself with dangerous animals." Percy joked, his hands moving fast enough for Ayano to understand.

"Fuck you." Ayano muttered and she flipped Percy off.

~in his hands - now they knew what had been in the long, thin package he had brought with them.

"Who's there?" he shouted. "I warn you -- I'm armed!"

There was a pause. Then --

SMASH!~

"Hagrid, you are gonna make Ayano go deaf again if you keep shouting." Sirius said with a bark like laugh.

"Oh, Ayano, 'm sorry!" Hagrid apologized, moving his hands a bit clumsily.

"Hagrid, its fine." Ayano said and turned her hearing aids on but kept them low. "I know you dont mean to get so loud."

~The door was hit with such force that it swung clean off its hinges and with a deafening crash landed flat on the floor.~

"Did anyone ever pay for that?" Hagrid asked Dorea.

"Nope." Dorea said and she shrugged.

~A giant of a man was standing in the doorway. His face was almost completely hidden by a long, shaggy mane of hair and a wild, tangled beard, but you could make out his eyes, glinting like black beetles under all the hair.~

"You sound so scary!" Ayano snorted and she smiled. "Though we all know that you are as sweet as some luck candy! Or some plum candy!"

"Chinesse sweets." Dorea said to clear up the confusion of the candies Ayano named.

~The giant squeezed his way into the hut, stooping so that his head just brushed the ceiling. He bent down, picked up the door, and fitted it easily back into its frame. The noise of the storm outside dropped a little. He turned to look at them all.

"Couldn't make us a cup o' tea, could yeh? It's not been an easy journey. . . "~

"There was no working fire Hagrid." Dorea said with a giggle. "At least you can have tea anytime you come visit me and Ayano!"

"Thank you Dorea! I'll bring some of my cakes!" Hagrid said. Dorea and Ayano shared a look.

"Of course Hagrid." Ayano said sweetly.

~He strode over to the sofa where Dudley sat frozen with fear.

"Budge up, yeh great lump," said the stranger.~
