The sun was shining through the windows of my bedroom, waking me up. I groggily got up and sat up with my hair messy, sticking out in all directions. Not wanting to, but I dragged myself out of bed and walked down the hallways. I stopped, remembering something very important.
Oh that’s right! It’s Kendra’s sister, Kadence's wedding! So I walked over to the phone and dialed Kendra’s phone number.
“So, when’s your sister’s wedding? And who’s the groom?” I asked.
Kendra hesitated.
“It’s this weekend. And it’s this guy named Kevin. He seems like a jerk though.”
“Oh wow um… where’s the wedding gonna be?”
“Haha, Kadence has this crazy idea that she wants her wedding on Mount Everest.”
“Isn’t that dangerous?”
“That’s what I said!”
“I have a bad feeling about this.”
