Nobody POV
Before Brady got home from the park, he swung by the store to actually do what he was supposed to do, get food.
After buying his things, he walked out the door and started walking back home. While walking home, he went to get something from his pocket when he touched the phone-the one Lincoln had given to him. Lincoln didn't tell him the password but he figured he'd probably deleted the password and was gonna let Brady make his own. So, that's what he did. Make a new password.
672006. Lincoln's birthday. Back when they first became friends, they had decided they'd make their phone passwords their birthdays. Lincoln's password was Brady's birthday, and Brady's password was Lincoln's birthday.
Sure that meant they could get into each others phone at any time but there was nothing to hide from each other-right?

When Brady got home, his mother and father were waiting for him.
"Brady. Where have you been? It's been over an hour."
He didn't know what to say. He couldn't tell them he was with Lincoln, obviously. He was gonna have to lie again.
"I was looking at a new house they were building, on Main Street."
His mother's face turned from anger to relief, no one could tell but he was also relieved, too.

Brady sat down on his bed, excited to talk to Lincoln. He'd just spoken to him around an hour ago but he still was desperate to hear his voice again.
He typed in Lincoln's number, scared and excited. It had rung 2-3 times before he quickly picked up.
"Hello? Brady?"
Brady felt like a fan girl. He was basically squealing. It was nice to hear Lincoln.
"I'm here."
"Why'd you call me? It's like 11."
"Oh uh..." He couldn't admit to the fact the only reason he called him was just to hear his voice, that'd be awkward.
"I just wanted to wish you goodnight," he blurted it out so quickly he didn't even know what he said.
"Oh. Well goodnight, love you."
Wait-did Brady just hear that right? There's no way. He did not just say-
"Love you too." Brady didn't know what he was doing. Someone else was controlling him. He couldn't explain it.
As soon as Lincoln heard him say that, he started blushing. Really hard. He couldn't control himself. He quickly hung up and started smiling. Now he knew- he loved him.HOPE YOU LIKED THIS!
