Zee basically introduced me to Albedo and I now understand why he is amazing

Razor walked into the class, hoping to be able to take his seat without being noticed. Several other students walked in until he saw the twins.

"Twins..." He thought to himself, remembering that Bennett has said they were in theater.

"Oh, Aether, look! That's Razor, the transfer student I told you about!" Lumine pointed at the tired boy and pulled her brother over to greet him.

"Lumine, you shouldn't point, and besides, you share a homeroom with him so I don't know why you're acting so surprised to see him."

"I was just curious if we'd share first period together is all!" Lumine pouted as she sat herself down next to Razor. Aether took his seat on the opposite side and Razor suddenly felt trapped.

"So, you tranferred from Russia?" Aether asked, resting his chin in his palm as they waited for the teacher to arrive.

"да," Razor smiled, "...English not very good, though..." He tried to remember the word he had used with Bennett, "Please be... patience--patient with me.."

His face was slightly flushed. He seemed to be rather uncomfortable talking to more than one person, especially in the bustling classroom.

"No need to worry, Razor!" Lumine smiled gently.

"Yea, me and Lumine used to travel a lot as kids, so we understand this sort of stuff!"

"Lumine and I," The girl corrected him.

"Shut up, you just want me to say your name first so he remembers it more. I know the kind of phycology tricks you're trying to pull!"

Razor felt himself shrinking back into his chair as the conversation became more of an argument between the two siblings. He felt unusually cold, but sweaty at the same time: he felt uncomfortable. He didn't know what to say, but he wanted to make them stop. He wanted to make them be quiet, but he didn't say anything. He continued to sit there, unable to force his mouth open.

He wanted the noise to stop.

He just wanted it all to stop-

"Good morning, my pupils," Albedo walked in, his soothing voice rushing over the swirl of student chatter like a calming spring.

"Before we begin, I was informed that we would be recieving a new student in our class today. So," He turned to Razor, "If you don't mind, would you like to introduce yourself?"

"mm.." Razor said quietly, standing up from his chair.

"I am Razor."

...

"Would you like to say anything else, Razor?" Albedo smiled patiently.

"I... am from Russia. My brother is Kazuha. He is senior highschool student."

"Oh, Kazuha.." Albedo contemplated for a moment, "I believe Kaeya teaches the math class for seniors, too bad.."

"Hm?"

"Ah, Kaeya tends to be a more... liberal.. teacher, if I could put it in that way. He and I have very different teaching styles and he tends to allow his students  the freedom to do whatever they wish during class. That isn't to say he doesn't try hard, but his teaching methods could use some refinement. If only I didn't help him with the theater club, my personal club might have more members..." Albedo sighed, then got back on track, "Thank you for the introduction, Razor, I look forward to having you in my class."

"Now, to begin today's lecture, I would first like to...."

Razor felt himself dozing off as he stared off into space. Albedo's voice become nothing but a lulling whitenoise to his heavy eyelids.

He closed his eyes for a moment and started to feel the chill of the nipping wind from back home. (In reality he just sat under the AC...) He missed home.. His friends, his parents, his... whole life... was back in Russia.. Who was he now? Just an exchange student to everyone else. He would probably have a hard time making friends since it would be hard for people to understand him.

His expression seemed downcast as he stared into space until Aether tapped his shoulder.

"You alright?" He smiled, then gazed at his long tangled hair. It looked like he just rolled out of bed.. "Your hair looks pretty messy... How about I brush it for you before next period in between classes? I could even braid it so we can be matching :3"

Lumine glanced over at her brother. She gave him a glare, tapping her notebook with the eraser of her pencil, reminding them to pay attention.

Aether stuck his tongue out at Lumine and continued whispering with Razor.

"Alright, it's settled! I'll braid your hair after classAether smiled gently, his eyes gazing into Razor's deep red ones.

"What happened? I thought you were nervous talking to guys! And don't you have a crush on Xiao?" Lumine interrogated her brother after class.

"Chill out, Lumine.. I just get nervous around Xiao... he's different... And so what if I talk to other guys, you can't deny Razor isn't cute." Aether gave her a smug smirk.

"Hmph.." Lumine pouted again, grabbing her backpack and heading out the door, before turning around and adding, "You should get going too, wouldn't wanna miss your braid train!"

She has said it particularly loud, making Aether blush in embarrassment.

"...Braid train?" Xiao's head popped into the classroom, "Aether, are you gonna braid someone's hair?"

"O-oh.. uh, yea, I was gonna help the transfer student cause his hair is a mess haha.." He scratched his head, but looked up to see Xiao standing in front of him.

"If you're gonna braid someone's hair," He said softly, grabbing Aether by the chin, "Why not braid mine?"

Aether felt a wave of butterflies rushing over him.

"I mean... I could- If you want, that is!" His cheeks were heating up and Xiao continued to hold his chin between his thumb and index finger.

"You could even use those crystalfly bobby-pins I got you," He smiled.

"I could!" Aether suddenly remember the pack of decorated bobby-pins.

"Oh, wait! You're here for your next class, aren't you.. I should probably go before I'm late.. But, I'll braid your hair too, if you want!! Byee!!!" Aether ran out the door, hurrying into the bathroom where he had told Razor to meet him.

"His smile was.. cute.." Xiao blushed slightly as he stood there, reminiscing in Aether's sweet, child-like smile.

...

"Ok! ...This might hurt.." Aether said as he held up a brush to Razor's tangled pile of hair.

Yayy, I accidently posted this early so I hope no one saw it until I finished it (о''о) Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this!!! Aether x Xiao is fun to write, also I'm not shipping Aether x Razor, I just thought Aether would be a flirty boy until it comes to his actual crush.
