chapter 9

Uni's POV

I looked at Tony in confusion. Just then the elevator door dinged, indicating someone had just got onto our floor. As the elevator doors slid open, out stepped a man with blonde hair and a hammer. Next to him was a man with jet black hair and some green and gold outfit.
"Good evening everyone!" He booms.
"Hey Thor, Loki." Says Tony, giving a small wave.
I pick Z up off my head and put him on the counter. I put a finger up, signalling for him to stay. Natasha and Clint also greet Thor and Loki.
"Thor, Loki, this is Uni, she's new to the avengers." Tony says, pointing to me. Thor walks up to me, holding out his hand. I shake it firmly.
"Nice to meet you, Uni." Thor says, giving a kind smile.
"Nice to meet you too, Thor." I say in responce.
Loki stands a few feet across from Thor.
"What powers do you have?" Asks Loki, eyeing me.
"Well, not powers per say. Unless you count respawning every time I die." I respond.
Everyone in the room looks at me with shock.
"You didn't tell us that." Says Natasha.
I shrug in responce.
"Well, I haven't died yet, so I didn't think I needed to." I reason.
"We will talk about this later." Says Tony sternly.
I roll my eyes in responce.
"But to answer your question, I don't really have powers. But I do have tons of weapons and armor." I say, pulling out my flamelash.
Thor and Loki look at it in surprise.
"Where did you say you were from again?" Loki asks, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm from a dimension called Terraria. I doubt you've heard of it though." I say.
Thor and Loki look at me in shock. I givr them a confused look.
"What?" I ask.
"It's impossible. Terraria is just a legend." Says Thor, trying to reassure   himself.
I look at him in bewilderment.
"What do you mean 'it's just a legend.' I just showed you a weapon from my world." I say, very confused.
"That, that weapon is from Terraria?" Asks Thor, pointing to the flamelash.
I nod to him. Thor and Loki eyes widen once more.
"Terrarians aren't a myth after all." Mutters Thor.
"You avengers really scored this time. But at the same time, you've doomed yourselves and others."
Says Loki, taking a seat on the couch, then putting his feet up.
The avengers in the room look at Loki in confusion. I stare at the ground in shame.
"Get to the point Loki. What do you know that we don't?" Asks Tony, obviously annoyed.
Loki chuckles a bit, then sits up straight.
"Why don't you ask Uni?" He says, looking at me.
I freeze, all eyes are on me now. I turn to face Nat, Tony, and Clint.
"You seem to be keeping a lot of secrets from us, Uni." Says Clint.
I sigh deeply.
"I know I know. But most are personal, and don't concern you." I say
"But, one of them does." I finish.
The avengers look at me in confusion and worry.
"You all recall the Boss fight with the twins right?" I ask, getting three nods from Tony, Clint, and Natasha.
"To put it simply, I'm a walking magnet for certain bosses. At random points before it turns night, a boss; just as the twins did; can show up. I'm a danger to everyone here, that's why I need to get home." I say, looking down in shame.
I then feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up to only see Natasha giving me a serious look.
"Can you control whether the bosses attack you or not?" She asks out of the blue.
"No." I mumble.
"Then it's not your fault the boss fight happened. That goes for any in the future aswell. No one in this room blames you for something out of your control." Says Natasha, giving me a small, but reassuring smile.
I give a small smile back.
"This is sweet and all, but can we go get donuts now? I've been craving them ever since I woke up this morning." Whines Clint.
Natasha takes her hand off my shoulder, walks over to Clint, and smacks him on the back of the head.
"All you ever think about is food. Your such a bird brain." Says Natasha, glaring at Clint.
(A/N: is it just me or does nats line remind anyone of when annabeth scolds percy and calls him seaweed brain? From the percy jackson series.)

"Actually, donuts sound pretty good right now." Says Tony.
Natasha gives him a 'you've got to be kidding me' look.
"Come on Nat, you know you want some." Says Clint.
Natasha huffs, crossing her arms.
"Fine." She says.
"Thor, what about you?" Clint asks.
"I'm good, but knowing Loki, he'll want one." Says Thor.
"I rather not go." Grumbles Loki.
"Loki." Says Thor warningly.
Loki groans, but stands up nonetheless.
"I might regret asking this, but what's a donut?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
Everyone looks at me with wide eyes.
"Terraria really is terrible." Says Clint.
"Ya we're going to a donut shop. Everyone get to the elevator." Says Tony.
I cringe a bit when I imagine how cramped that elevator is going to be. Then an idea hits me. I quickly equip my wings.
"Uni, what are you doing?" Asks Tony, looking at my wings in confusion.
"You guys can go in that cramped elevator, I'm gunna take to the sky. See ya!" I say,
running at the glass windows and shattering them. I ignore the whining of Tony and the calls of my team. I continue to fly down to the bottom of stark tower.
'Lets hope Tony isn't too annoyed with me breaking his window. Again.' I think.
When I get to the bottom of the tower I notice people staring at me in fear and concern. I immediately unequip my wings and power walk right into stark tower. But once I entered I was stopped my none other than Tony. Clint, Natasha, and Loki were behind him.
"Oh, hey Tony." I greet, grinning.
"Don't pull a stunt like that again, got it?" He says sternly
"Eh, I wont die from it. Can we go to this donut place now?" I ask.
"Fine, lets go." Tony says, leading the way.

A/n: SO SORRY! I have a year round school so the updates are going to be slowish. And i had friends over so thats also why i wasn't updating.
