chapter 16

A/N: minor swearing in this chapter, also a somewhat epic boss fight!

Uni's POV
------------
"Here we go again." I mumble, putting on my armor and bringing out my excalibur.
Jake brings out the sharanga bow I gave him so long ago.
A/N: I'm pretty sure the Sharanga bow isn't in the game anymore, but it's a bow I loved so I'm going to keep it in the story.)
Alice took out her syringes, which she had modified to be like Sherikans, while Nadia used her magic to boost our stats.
The eye of Cthuhlu then fazed through the wall in front of us, staring at me. It didn't stay still for too long, because it then launched itself at me. Jake brought out a grappling hook and shot it at the ceiling, Nadia tuck and rolled out of the way, while Alice backed up, shooting at the demonic eye. The eye ignored Alice and collided with my excalibur, trying to knock me over. I struggled to hold my ground, my feet sliding from the lack of traction.
"Jake! Shoot the damn thing!" I yell, gritting my teeth.
Jake takes action, hooking the end of his grappling hook to his pants, then grabbing his bow and firing green blazing arrows at the eye. Alice was next to Nadia, still throwing syringes at the eye. I was getting ready to launch the eye back when it threw me back into the wall, making a crater.
Even though I didn't take a ton of damage, the impact still hurt. I stood up, grabbing out my light disc's. When I looked up, I groaned loudly, and mumbled.
"Well shit."

Back with the Avengers
Third POV

The Avengers just got done with a meeting in Wakanda. Clint, Tony, Steve, Natasha, Bruce, and Thor walked into the living room, Tony looking around.
"FRIDAY, have Uni and her friends returned?" Tony asked the A.I.
"Yes, they are currently fighting a big eye in the training room, would you like to see the video feed?" Asks FRIDAY.
Everyones eyes widen in shock.
"Yes, show us the video feed." Says Tony.
FRIDAY turns on the TV to show the terrarians fighting what looked like an enormous mouth. The avengers were in shock, their eyes glued to the screen. Everyone listened in on the conversation between the Terrarians.
"It's transformed already, so its at half health right?" Asks Jake, still shooting at the beast from the ceiling.
"Yes, but that means-" Uni was cut off by the eye launching itself at her and going through the floor. The mouth monster quickly re-appears from the floor, launching at Uni once again. Uni then uses her wings to zip up into the air, just in time to avoid the beast. Uni brings out her excalibur and flies down towards the mouth, plunging her sword into the top of the mouth. The beast rawrs out in agony before exploding into bits and pieces of itself. The terrarians group up around some sort of trophy.
"Sweet, another trophy." Exclaims Uni.
"Don't you already have that exact one?" Asks Alice, putting her syringes away.
"Yea, but I wanted one for my room in this tower." Uni explains, putting the trophy in her inventory.
The Avengers watch the interaction in confusion and shock.
"How the hell can they act like thats normal!? That shouldn't be normal!" Exclaims Clint, throwing his hands up in the air.
"FRIDAY, tell Uni and her friends to meet us in the living room" says Tony sternly.
"Of course genius, playboy, philanthropist." Says FRIDAY.
Tony turns to Thor, who was snickering.
"Well, your not wrong." Tony mumbles.

Back with Uni
Third POV

"That wasn't too difficult!" Chirps Jake.
Alice scoffs, crossing her arms.
"Did you expect it to be? We've fought that thing so many times that almost everyone back home has a trophy from it." Says Alice.
Naida rolls her eyes.
"Correction, Uni's fought that this so many times." Corrects Nadia, nudging Alice.
"Yea yea." Alice says, smacking Naida's arm.
Nadia holds her arm and fake pouts, earning a chuckle from the nurse.
"Uni, Tony Stark is requesting you and your friends in the living room." FRIDAY speaks, making Nadia, Alice, and Jake, bring out their weapons and point them at the sealing.
"Woah woah, calm down guys. It's only FRIDAY, Tony's AI." Uni says, gesturing for the three to put their weapons away.
Jake puts his bow away, Nadia and Alice do the same with their weapons.
"That thing scared the shit out of me." Mumbles Alice.
"It's ok Alice. Come on guys, Tony's waiting for us. You don't want to see him when he gets all upset. He becomes even more of an ass than normal." Uni says, grinning.
The Terrarians laugh at the thought. Uni takes off her armor and the group head to the living room.

Uni's POV

Walking into the living room I am greeted by stares from the Avengers. Tony tried to look annoyed, but couldn't hide his worried look. Natasha had a poker face, but her eyes told how she was feeling. Bruce looked very worried, but seemed to keep 'him' under control. Steve, Clint and Thor were all wearing a similar expression of plain worry and shock. Me and the other Terrarians stood there in uncomfortable silence.
Until Jake decided to speak up.
"So, I'm guessing we're in trouble?" Asks Jake meekly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"What were you thinking?! Fighting another boss! Any of you could have been killed!" Tony scolds.
The other Terrarians look down in shame. I on the other hand roll my eyes.
"I see your concern, but for us, killing that boss is like swatting a fly for us. We've fought that eye so many times I have a trophy for all my friends back at home from it." I say, ranting a bit.
The Avengers look at me with baffled expressions. Tony was the first to shake away the expression on his face, only to pinch the bridge of his nose.
Just... warn us next time you want to fight something. Ok?" He asks.
I smile lightly.
"Whatever you say, Stark."
