Chapter 1: Monday and Soeun

"Aaaaahhhhhhh finally!!!!! I feel like my butt could fall off any minute now." Jiyoon said as the girls finally finished their dance session. They have been working nonstop for the past 5 hrs.

"Ok, ok calm down. Do always have to be so dramatic?" Soojin stated as she zipped her bag closed all ready to go.

"Of course I have to be. If not I'll just be an average commoner."

Soojin just rolled he eyes at Jiyoons antics. She looked around the room and all the girls were ready to go with their bags in hand except one. "Hey Soeun why aren't you getting ready to go? It's getting late."

"Hmm... oh I'm not going with you guys back to dorm now. I'm not satisfied with some of my moves yet so I'm going to practice a bit longer"

"Okay just not to late. And make sure to drink a lot of water so that you don't faint!"

Soeun nodded and waved as the girls made their way out of the practice room. As she turned around to face the mirror, her soul almost left her body and basically fell on the floor when she saw Monday standing with her bag in her hand behind her.

"WHAT THE HECK JIMIN!!!!!!!!! YOU GAVE ME A FREAKING HEART ATTACK!!!!" Soeun calmed herself a bit and got up from the ground, "What are you still doing here I thought you left already?"

"You're practicing late so I'm staying with you."

Monday went to put her bag next to Soeuns and proceeded to sit down on the floor and watch Soeun.

"You don't have to stay I'm not a kid I'll be able to get back to the dorm by myself ya know."

"Yeah I know but I'm still going to stay."

"Jimin it's late and you were complaining earlier that you can't wait to go home because you're really tired. I really don't mind going back alone"

"And I really don't mind staying here with you."

Soeun saw the determined look in Mondays eyes and just decided to give up the argument and let her stay. She started to practice again and after 5 minutes Monday joined her. They danced for about 2 more hours with an occasional water break in between.

"Aaahhh why doesn't this feel right!!" Soeun half shouted and she flopped down onto the floor.

"What do you mean it was perfect." Monday then went to fetch some water for the 2 of them and sat down beside her.

"I don't know what's wrong this move just doesn't feel right with the music. Almost like there is something missing."

"Mhm this part of the choreography does feel a bit empty... Why don't we take a break and then we can put our heads together and try to think of something to make it better."

"Okay..." Soeun just drank some of her water. And then pouted while already coming up with some additions to the choreo in her head. 

"You look really cute like that." Monday said softly but because the practice room was really quiet Soeun heard it clearly and smiled a bit at her words.

"What did you say?" She teased

"Mhm?? What?? Oh nothing... I mean... the light... its cute!!!"

Soeun laughed at how flustered Monday was getting and was relieved that the action could take her mind off things

"Don't lie, I heard you say that I looked cute." Soeun smirked.

"Well... uhm... I mean it's the truth... you are really cute." Monday mumbled the last part while looking down at her water before she got a bit of courage to speak again, "You're not just cute... I... think you're extremely gorgeous too..."

The room fell silent and this time Soeun turned into a blushing mess. After a minute Monday cleared her throat to speak again.

"I mean you're really talented, you can sing well, dance well, cook well and on top of that your still really beautiful too... sometimes I think how are you even human."

Soeun was completely lost for words. This was the first time her friend complemented like this. She was usually more of a goofy person always making jokes but she seems so serious now.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make it awkward..." Monday apologized while rubbing the back of her neck.

"Don't apologize." Soeun moved slightly and held Mondays face positioned so that both their eyes meet. They both stared at each other. The distance between them slowly started to disappear. They were only centimeters apart. Monday looked at Soeuns lips, she could feel how their breath were starting to entangle...

"BUM BA BA BUM BA BU BUM DU DDU DU DU DU!!!!!!!!"

Soeuns phone rang and she mentally cursed for putting BLACKPINK'S Kill This Love as her ringtone.

"What!!!"

"Don't what me!!! Where the hell are you two???" Jiyoon shouted through the phone. Monday made a mental note to strangle Jiyoon when she gets back to the dorm for ruining this moment.

"Yeah yeah chill we are on our way." Soeun hung up, "Uhm... I guess we should head back now." Soeun stated slightly awkward because of the fact that she and Monday just almost just kissed.

"Y-yeah I g-guess..." They both got up and looked everywhere else but at each other. "If you want we could always come earlier tomorrow and work on the choreo a bit..."

"That sounds good..."

"Yeah..."

"Yeah..." They both couldn't hold in their blush anymore

"We should probably get going before we hear the trumpets again." Monday joked referring to Soeuns ringtone.

They both started to head out and go back to the dorm. Still flustered from their almost kiss and blushing whenever their hands had slight contact. They hope that their faces would return to normal so that their members won't make fun of them when they get back. In the back of both their heads they can't wait for tomorrows practice and hopefully get the same events of today just with a better ending.
