Why?

Chapter 1

I petted my favorite dog Murphy. He wagged his tail back at me. I absolutely love that dog. I heard my parents setting up for my birthday downstairs I was going to turn sixteen. I was going to have a great party. All my friends were going to have a sleepover.
I heard the doorbell ring I rushed down the steps to the upstairs. My parents owned a mansion and three dogs. They also had one child. That is me, Christina.
I opened the door Hannah was standing there. She is the most popular girl in school and also my best friend. Besides popular she is really fun and great to have a party with.
"This is your house she asked." Yep" I answered. "It is huge" she said looking up at the roof."How are you" said my mom coming in wearing an apron. "Yes my mom just dropped me off she will be back at 12:00 to pick me up" Hannah said. "That is fine with me"my mom said.
My mom went back into the kitchen and I lead Hannah to my room where I had 7 sleeping bags set out on the floor. She put down her bag. "So" she said "what should we do"? "I don't know what do you want to do"? I asked. "Let's go downstairs and play with sweetie she is my favorite dog." Hannah said. " I have more dogs" I said "like Murphy and Comet."Yes but sweetie is my favorite."okay" I said "we will go see her."
We went outside and called sweetie. She is big and strong so she runs fast. She jumped up on me and licked my face. Then I said "sit" and she sat down right in front of us. We lead sweetie into my house.
When the rest of the guests got there we all had fun. When it was time for dinner I heard my parents fighting in their bedroom. It was weird because my parents barely ever fight. I thought it would be okay and they would make up soon.
After dinner we all fell asleep I fell asleep holding Murphy and of course Hannah was hugging sweetie. Comet was downstairs in my parents room. Then I realized my dad slept on the couch. That must of been a really bad fight that my parents had.
