⚜ Chapter 19 ⚜

"Nachiket!!!! The food is ready. Come down. Nachiket???? " Ruhi yelled from the kitchen. On receiving no response she turned off the stove and wiped the sweat on her forehead with her sleeves. She ran through the stairs yelling "Nachiket?? Nachiket??? ".

She entered their room. She couldn't believe what her eyes showed her. " Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!! " She yelled. A black energy ball arose from the Nachiket's chest.

"I am leaving him now. Will be back soon. Ruhi. Enjoy. I want Revenge." A voice echoed in their room and soon Nachiket was lying lifelessly on the ground. Ruhi ran to him and kept her hand on his head. He twitched his eyebrows and soon he shot his eyes open. As if woke up from a nightmare.

"Are you fine Nick? " She asked helping him to sit up. He held his head and asked her with great difficulty, " What just happened? Why are you crying?"
"Nothing. Wash your face and tie this thread on your wrist. Dare you remove it." She said wiping her tears and handing him the thread.

He looked at her confused but sensed that Vicky scared her again. He nodded and wore the thread again.

As the time passed both of them involves themselves in gossips, waiting for Vihaan and Kimaya come back. Because after they comeback, they would continue the story.

"Vihaan. Tell na. What happened next???? " Ruhi irritated him again.

"Okay. Okay. Sit. " Vihaan said giving up on her.

Days passed and the news of Shivi's death spread like wildfire. Vicky had made all arrangements, to frame Nachiket in this murder.

People shot glares at us. Making us feel as if we were the murders of our best friend.

Luckily Ruhi didn't knew about it.

I guess!!!! She didn't.

"Now, Nachiket will tell you. What he has gone through. I am leaving!!!! " Vihaan said and left for study room.

Nachiket's POV -

It was all planned to frame me in Shivi's murder. I haven't told Ruhi about it, but soon she would too come to know as we share the same campus.

Ahh!! A groaned massaging my temples. Sitting on the last table of cafeteria.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back.

I gulped down audibly. Vicky!!!! Bloodshot eyes!!!!!

Well, he must be guilty! Why is he angry!!! Nasty fellow.

He KILLED Shivi.

Doesn't he regret that??? He LOVED her??? Seriously???

I snapped those thoughts and stood up.

"Ye- Yes? " I asked in a feeble voice.

And a slap landed on my cheeks.

Now I lost it...

How dare he? Again!!!

"What??? Why the fuck did you slap me? " I said loud enough for the whole cafeteria to turn themselves towards us.

"Shivi. My Shivi is dead because of you. " He said gritting his teeths.

I wasn't shocked!!! He said this prior too.

"Really??? Do you think that I'll kill her??? You psychopath. " I almost yelled.

"Anyways. If you loved her, why the hell did you kill her???? " I asked him sarcastically.

"You. Because she loved you and not me. " He said.

I was shocked as hell. She LOVED me?????

I didn't knew!!!!!! When???? How???????

"Wh-Whatt???? " I heard a feeble voice.

God dammit!!!!!!!

Vicky turned back. As he saw Ruhi. He clenched his fists. Why?????

He was about to slap her when I pulled Ruhi behind me.

"Don't. You. Dare. To. " I  said. Making his eyes for widen as no one dared to go against him.

Knowing he was a psychopath!!!

But for my Ruhi. I would.

He left the cafeteria and Ruhi looked towards me. Her eyes we're teared up.

"Do you trust me? " I asked her and she nodded instantly without a second thought.

Just then Vih dada and Kimaya arrived.

"Nick. Ruhi.... Ruhi's brother is here to take her away. He came to know about the murder so.... " Dada said and I froze.

The thought of parting away from Ruhi... Scares me!!!!!!!

"I am sorry. I have to go. I trust you. And I'll be always by your side. Now. I. Have. To. Leave. Bye . " She said and all I could do was stare at the retreating figure.

Vihaan Dada help me stand up again.

Few days passed and I was a sad soul.

I would hardly eat or drinking. I never had will to eat or survive but for Dada. I had to.

He loved me so much.

I know Ruhi trusts me. Though she is not with me. She is with me.
