I woke up late on Sunday. All of us had stayed up late talking and gossiping. I quickly showered and threw on some muggle clothing. Black jeans, a dark pink shirt with a knot, and an open ivory cardigan. I did my hair up into a French braid and walked down to the Great Hall. Since it was a weekend, everyone was wearing muggle clothing that they had brought from home.

I sat down next to Tori and grabbed a piece of toast. The mail owls came in and I was shocked when my snowy owl, Cedar, came flying into the Great Hall along with other owls. I grabbed the letter that she dropped onto my plate and opened it. Inside was a piece of parchment with swirly writing.

Davis,

I need to speak to you regarding the flying lesson from last week. Meet me in my office at 11 AM.

Professor S. Snape

I finished breakfast and then I walked down to the dungeons to meet Snape. I knocked twice on the door to hear a faint "You may enter." I shut the door behind me and walked up to the desk. "You wanted to talk to me, professor." Snape barely glanced at me. "Sit down, Davis." I did.

"Davis, I'm afraid that you can't join the team this year. I'm still not sure how Potter got onto the team, but you can't next year. See if you can buy a nice broom and then try out for the team next year. However, I will speak to Flint, who is the captain, about considering you. He normally picks quantity over quality, but I will make sure that he thinks about selecting you for the team next year." I was shocked. I couldn't believe that Snape actually wanted me on the team. I cleared my throat and said, "Ok sir. Thank you."

"Of course. You may leave."

I stood up and left Snape's office.

On my way to the library, I couldn't believe that Snape actually wanted me on the Quidditch team. I reached the library, grabbed a book on Transfiguration, and started reading it.

After Exams:

I walked out of the Great Hall with Tori. We finally finished our last exam on Potions. We were discussing the final house points.

"Hey, Tori. What's the bet that Gryffindor is gonna win the house cup this year?" We made small bets on a lot of stuff, such as Quidditch matches, answers in class, and the like. It was nothing more than 3 Knuts at the most.

"I'm betting 2 Sickles that Slytherin is going to win." Damn, that was the highest bet that either of us had made.

"I don't blame you, but don't you think that Dumbledore will award Potter 3 million points for breathing enough air this year?"

Tori burst into laughter. "Oh. My God. Why is that so true?" With that, we both started laughing. We sat down under a large tree with a lot of shade and kept laughing.

We finally calmed down after a few minutes.

We both decided to wait until curfew. I looked around and saw Fred at a nearby tree. I caught his eye and smiled. He smiled and then gestured for me to come by him. I looked around and quickly told Tori, "I need to go to the library. There are some books that I need to return." Tori nodded and I got up and made my way to Fred. He dropped a piece of paper and walked away. I bent down and picked up the paper.

Midnight,

Meet us where you met Stella

F

I walked to the library. I knew where this place was. It was near the Muggle book section of the library. I got there and placed a book on the shelf. I had taken out The Old Yeller to see if it was interesting, but it was boring as hell. I walked over to where Fred wanted to meet me. He was sitting there, looking at the roof.

I sat down and said, "Hey. What did you wanna talk about?" Fred looked down at me and said, "You know, for a while, I've had a suspicion. You know that friend that you have? Astoria Greengrass?" Oh shit. Did Fred know that she liked him? I nodded. "Well, I think she likes me." Damn it! He does know. I can't lie, can I? Maybe I can avoid the question. "Well, do you like her back?" Please say yes. Please say yes.

"Well, I don't. Not because she is a Slytherin, but she's not my type. Besides, I like someone else." Ooh! Forget that Fred doesn't like Tori. I always like to hear this kinda stuff. "Who is it? I promise I won't tell." Fred blushed. Wait, Fred blushed! He must really like her. "I, um. I like S-St-Stella." My head exploded. Stella! Stella Beckett! Fred likes her! She's pretty, though. But, what!

Now that I think about it, I could see how they were leaving a flirtatious path behind them. I kinda, mighta, sorta, ship them.

"Oh. Cool. You two kinda look cute together. Anyway, I gotta run." I got up and walked out of the library.

As I was shipping Fred and Stella, I realized something.

How was I going to break the news to Tori?
