I felt something shaking me and I woke up. I lifted my head and found myself staring into George's eyes. I lept back in fright, before last night's event played out in my head. They ended in me falling asleep on George's shoulder. Shit! I needed to get back to the common room before getting caught. What time was it? Was anyone awake? Did anyone know that I wasn't in the common room? I was freaking out. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked behind me. Fred was behind me, looking into a piece of parchment. I mustered up some courage and asked, "What time is it?" Fred glanced at his watch and said, "Almost 1:00 in the morning. You need to get back to your common room before someone notices that you're out here." I almost burst out laughing. "You think? But, what is someone is out there?" Fred handed me the parchment. I looked at it and my jaw dropped. It was a map of Hogwarts! I looked at where we were sitting and saw three figures with the names "Fred Weasley", "George Weasley", and "Edith Davis" at those spots. Suddenly, my heart started racing. No one was supposed to know that I am Edith. I looked at the route to the common room. No one was there. I had to get out of here before either of them noticed that Edith was on the map, not Midnight. "Ok, no one is there. I'm going to head back now." I swiftly said before getting up and leaving. I ran back to the common room, whispered the password, and went inside. I sat on the sofa, in case anyone was coming down the stairs. After about 2 minutes I went back up to the dormitory and fell asleep again.

(A/N: Time skip! We are in the Charms lesson. The Leviooooosa one)

Everyone was practicing the levitation spell in Charms, with failing results. I got paired up with Astoria Greengrass, who is actually much nicer than I expected. She kept trying to make the charm work, but it didn't. In the background, I heard a Gryffindor named Hermione Granger correct someone about their spell. I knew she was going to perform the spell and the spell would work. I wanted people to know that Slytherins are smart because all people think is that Slytherins are evil. Just before Granger was going to perform the spell, I took my wand and said, "Wingardium Leviosa!" while doing the swish and flick wand motion. The feather flew up in the air. All chants stopped as their eyes were attracted to my levitating feather. Professor Flitwick, standing on his pile of books, squeaked, "Well, look at this! Ms. Davis has done it! Well done!" I felt happy about this. Everyone looked at me and then went back to trying to make their feathers levitate. Everyone, except Granger. She was staring at my feather with an open mouth. I stopped performing the spell and Granger's eyes went down and locked on mine. The shocked expression on her face transformed into a death glare. She mouthed You will pay. I was confused. What had I done?

After the lesson, I was on my way to Transfiguration when something bumped into me, hard. I fell over and hit my right hand on the floor really hard. I had dropped my bookbag on the ground when I had fallen. The hallway was mostly empty, as everyone had already gotten to their class. I looked up and saw and bushy head facing me. Granger looked over her shoulder, gave an evil smirk, and walked away. My wrist was throbbing painfully. Water sprung to my eyes from the pain. I heard footsteps behind me. I wanted to gt up, but by instinct, I placed my weight on my right hand to get up but collapsed as my hand couldn't bear the weight. Someone crouched in front of me and started collected my books. A pale hand stuck out at me and helped pull me up off the ground. I looked at the face of the person who had helped me and saw Draco Malfoy. He handed my bag back and took my wrist into his hand. He ran his hand over my wrist and applied some pressure on my wrist. I winced obviously from the rush of pain that ran through my arm. "You need to get to the hospital wing. I'll take you." Draco said. The twins' words replayed in my head. Could I trust Draco? I decided to go with him, but I made sure my wand was somewhere I could reach easily.

We walked to the Hospital Wing, where Madam Pomfrey sat me down on a hospital bed. Draco placed my book bag next to the bed. I told him, "Could you go tell McGonagall what happened? Don't mention who did it, though" He nodded and left. I sat at the bed waiting for Madam Pomfrey to come.

Suddenly, something flashed.

The hospital wing vanished in front of me. I knew I was seeing something because I could feel the bed under me. I saw a girl with curly black hair. Bellatrix Lestrange. I know that most people get mad to see her, but I wasn't. I watched as she talked to someone. Voldemort! I was scared. I heard them muttering, as if I was there, standing in that room. Bellatrix said, "My lord, there is a mudblood who was sorted into Slytherin. What do we do?" I knew that they were talking about me. "We shall watch her actions. Based on that, we will continue." At least I wouldn't be killed.

Yet.
