His light My darkness

Chapter 1 Light

Light overshadows all. That's what our elders told us. They made us look superior than the Dark. The Dark are full of trash, selfish, inconsiderate what ever names you want to call them.

We were sent to redeem the world from the dark. We ended their reign of terror, inequality and pain till one fateful day, a light fell in love with a dark.

Everybody warned them, tried desperate means to break that bond but the love between them was so strong; nobody could come between them anymore.

It was a great curse for a light to fall in love with a dark. Because at the end, the darkness within them will take advantage of the light's weakness and dim their light.

As decades went by, a great storm appeared turning everywhere that had light into darkness. There was a lot of screams and stampedes as everyone both lights and darks escaped for their dear lives.

All of a sudden, a tornado like looking wind appeared in the center of both worlds sucking the lives out of every light and dark body it could find. Half of the population had died leaving a few to ponder on what had happened.

The skies turned red revealing a figure with a staff in its hand and spoke. Its voice booming all around scaring everything and anything in its path.

''Cursed are you all. Cursed! Cursed! Cursed'' it said then dropped a book in both worlds before disappearing.

There was a loud wail and coming to see.. the light and dark lovers were turned to stone and beneath them stated [''LIGHT AND DARK DON'T MIX''.

Since that horrific incident, lights and darks stayed away from each other. The darks put up an invincible wall that prevents their kingdom from ever been seen from human eyes and lights eyes but for the lights all they did was cast a light spell that forbids darkness and welcomes all.

''Liliana'' My mom yelled almost blinding my eyes because of her light abilities. I rushed down stairs ready for my first day in high school in no type of ordinary school but with both lights and darks.

I've never seen darks before but from what I've heard I don't plan on having any kind of cordial relationship with them.

My name is Liliana and I'm a light. I'm not like any other light female. My hair is silver looking and my hair actually matches my eyes. I have a moon sign on my forehead which kinda seem weird to me but I'm okay. Plus I'm not really tall nor short either.

''Make sure you be on your best attitude lil. No trouble okay sweetie'' My mom said while peeking me on the cheek.

Best attitude huh mom. I will try smiling widely. My bestfriend Gina came to pick me up and off to school we go. I just can't wait to see the famous Darks or whatever they call themselves and cause troubles with them.

We finally reached school. The school where both lights and darks can live in peace and harmony. Study , have fun and all other high school kids stuff.

As I entered campus, I received a lot of stares from other students both darks and lights. Well I admit, I look different way different from nay ordinary light or dark to be found in this world.

I ignored the stares as I continued to walk alone nervously in the middle of the hallway. ''Oh Gina'' I grumbled if only she hadn't ditched me for those girls she calls friends with. 

I closed my eyes for two seconds.. just two seconds and ended up bumping into a hard hard firm wall. I opened my eyes startled, looking into the most beautiful dark blue eyes I've ever seen in my entire life. 

Our eyes locked for a while before one of his minions rudely pulled me away from him. She looked at me so darkly as she wrapped her arms protectively around him.

''Stay away from him light bitch'' she said looking like  some snack to give to my pet sunny very vicious.

'' I don't waste time talking to Garbage'' I rolled my eyes pushing her away from me and walked away.

I could hear her whining to her so called boyfriend and all of a sudden its like time stopped. I looked around and everybody had froze. My heart started beating fast knowing danger was in front of me.

I met those dark blue eyes staring down at me with a non approving face. Everything about him spoke danger but I refused to acknowledge that fact. I will not melt down to a darkling. I said to myself.

''You disrespected my goddess'' he said dangerously but every word that came out of his mouth was intentionally seducing making my body hot and tingly.

''I did nothing. She...''

''Silence!'' he yelled cutting me off. My body shook with fear. Never been scared in my entire life. He stood there handsomely staring at me with those beautiful dark blue eyes. He licked his lips then all of a sudden I felt my life source drain out of me.

I was dying. I couldn't breathe and all he did was stand there with no emotion in his eyes as he kept on choking the life out of me with his dark power.

I didn't know Darks were that powerful. I was scared, at this point I hoped my light abilities will resurface and help me out but to no avail. I was hopeless, weak.

''Now don't you ever talk to my goddess in any disrespectful manner anymore'' he ordered and let me go. 

I fell down hard on the ground and nobody tried to help me . They all left the scene as if nothing ever happened. Then I heard my name. It was Gina trying to run in heels. Her face looked so worried and that made me even more angry and embarrassed.

''LIL! are you okay?'' she yelled still a mile away from me.

''Yeah!'' I yelled back faintly rubbing my neck. I finally stood up almost loosing balance but held onto one of the locker handles. A tear dropped down to the floor. Then more and more and more and more till I broke down.

''I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. His name is Lucario heir to the throne of the underworld. The most powerful darkling and that bitch you saw is his goddess Flora. Those two rule campus''

''Some friend you are '' I spat angrily walking out on her with ever ounce of strength I had. I really wanted to go home but I couldn't just ditch school. That incident will pass and go I hoped.

As soon as I entered my class, all eyes were on me including the teacher. I found an empty space and sat down quietly waiting for the class to start. Soon, the class became lively again and I was alone all by myself. Nobody to talk to.

''Silence class'' Miss Anderson shushed as she called me in front of the class. She gave me one long piercing stare then back to the other students. 

''As we all know, fighting each other is unforgivable in this school'' she said looking at me and I gave her the look like what the hell.

''I..''

''Shhush I'm not done talking. So its either you ask for forgiveness from Lucario's goddess Flora or detention.'' she said with her arms folded. The class was so dead quiet when Lucario and Flora entered the class looking like regular students. See those bitches I whispered to myself.

This time Lucario was looking directly at me and I looked directly at him into his eyes.. into his dark black void soul and responded '' Detention'' still locking eyes with him.

His eyes widened a bit but went back to normal as he stood up choking the life out of me again. This time my light abilities caught him and shoved him into the nearest wall in the classroom.

''She said detention'' two voices echoed.

I fell to the ground and blacked out.
