ARIA POVThe last two weeks seemed to go by drastically, my day to day consisted of work and spending time with the boys. But I had college work piling up and a shit ton of Zoom calls that were waiting to happen. When I wasn't being productive, I was fucking Max, constantly.
He hadn't left me alone, he had been staying over mine almost every other day, and it wasn't just for sex, we were out and about consistently. But only when he had time off, and when he didn't he would leave very early and come back very late though which was confusing.
He would keep me awake, while I waited for him to come home and when he'd arrive, he'd fuck me for hours on end, with no breaks. It was bad for business but it felt so good.
None of the guys really questioned why Max was practically living here and what he was doing with me. He would come and go as he pleased, so Sam ended up giving him the spare key which I wasn't fond of.
I still treasured my private time. I had makeup artists and stylists in and out all day and I was short of free time. Max wasn't a big enough part of my life to be all up in it, I wondered if he knew that.
In the last couple of weeks, i'd come to learn Max was highly protective, usually when we were in public. It wasn't a controlling type of thing, I was free to do and wear what I wanted, but he kept tabs on me; it was true dominance, not insecurity driven.
As I got to know him I came to the conclusion he was involved in some shady shit, the multiple phones he used, people following us around, coming home late. I'm pretty sure some men had been following me around too when I went out, I spoke to him about it but he brushed it off.
I didn't have the courage to ask him what was going on so I desensitized myself to it. Deep down I didn't want to know.
It was the evening, I had planned to meet with Silas and Kay for drinks, Silas was my one of my boy best mates, we just weren't that close anymore. I was looking forward to spending time with them alone. Our schedules were messy and no one had time to meet regularly.
My phone dinged and I picked it up, looking closely to see Max had hit me up, I opened Imessage.
Max: I'm coming over.
I huffed. The problem with Max, he didn't understand personal space. I wasn't used to this sort of friends with benefits thing we had going on, it was time to set boundaries.
Aria: Not tonight, I'm going out x
Max is typing...
I placed down my phone, aggressively applying another ten coats of lipgloss, he aired my message. I grabbed my clutch and put on my strappy lace up heels and made my way downstairs. Sam was sat on the sofa on his laptop and everyone else was out. I strutted across.
"Where you going." He looked me up and down, couldn't help himself.
"Drinks with Silas and Kay." I replied, checking myself in the mirror for any flaws. Non found.
Sam shrugged in response before picking up his phone that had just chimed. "Max is coming over, mate." He explained.
I gripped my clutch in anger. "Told him i'm going out."
Sam just shook his head smirking at me. "Here we go."
I text Silas to tell him I was on my way and to order me a glass of wine. I grabbed my house key off of the kitchen island before I saw a shadow on the garden patio.
Max put his keys down on the island and crept into the dining room, he greeted sam with a fist bump, turning towards me.
"Where you going." He practically drooled over me.
