"Oh my god!" Alexa moans closing her eyes. "This is the most amazing sandwich I have ever tasted — and I've tasted a lot of sandwiches in my lifetime."

"Well, I was hired here for a reason." Violet retorts.

"And I'm very happy to have you." Alexa smiles before taking another large bite of her sandwich. Wiping her mouth with a napkin once she's finished she hops out of her seat. "Alright, as much as I would love to stay and taste test more food, I have to go."

"Where to? Another important meeting?" Violet questions with an amused grin.

"Just meeting up with a friend that's gonna help me out with a favor." Alexa replies. "Keep up the good work."

Exiting the bar Alexa turns down the street, traveling up and down a few more streets before reaching her destination. Pulling open the front door as a soft bell chimes she walks across the empty space and up to a man with chiseled features and very noticeable muscles.

"Alexandria Swan." Landon greets with a small smile. "After the first curse broke I thought that you forgot about me."

"Forget Landon Chaser? Like I could ever do that." Alexa scoffs. "So — are you ready to do this or what?"

CAMELOT
FIVE WEEKS EARLIER

After arriving back at the Granny's home base Alexa watches as her sister walks over to her son, sitting beside him. Feeling an arm slide around her waist she smiles and leans against their body, instantly recognizing the owner.

"How is she?" Killian asks.

"She's putting on a brave face, but it's eating her up inside." Alexa responds, her lips curving down into a frown as she breathes out a heavy sigh. "God, I wish we could get this darkness out of her, already."

"We all do." Killian says, pressing a soft kiss onto her shoulder. "But, until then, come with me."

"Come with you? Killian, we can't.." Alexa starts.

"Come. Your sister can handle you not watching her every move for a couple of minutes." Killian presses.

"Fine." Alexa sighs. "But if anything happens I'm blaming you."

"I'll take that risk." Killian agrees before taking her hand and leading her through the woods, staying along the creek line.
