I had fell asleep after breakfast forgetting about tonights shopping. It had been a few hours before jack came in with a knife. Me being asleep, I didnt know about it. He grabbed me by the neck and of course, i had waken up. Tired and unfocused, I hugged him thinking it was Jake. He stabbed me in the back with the Sharp knife and I shook. Trembling and weeping I looked up at him to see jack. Shaking he stabbed me again...and again...and again...he raised the knife again before jake ran in. He tackled him and I fell back on the floor; weak. I struggled to get away from it. Crawling away, he stabbed me in my leg. Screaming, jake took the knife stabbing jack right in the chest. Which led to almost instant death. My head down on the floor, I cried and whimpered. "Shit..." he ran to get a towel and wrapped me in it. How is it possible that I'm still alive..? Anyway...on our way to the hospital, he had quickly signed me in as I was taken in. So quick that his hand writing was shooked and messy. I was given surgery for my wounds. Everything was black and dark. Jake was in the waiting room. Pacing. A few moments(hours) later..I had started to wake up. My vision blurry and my head fuzzy...i couldnt think..all i saw was jake..what was he doing..? I blinked a few times before my vision started clearing up. It was just a doctor talking to jake outside the door. I..I saw a heart monitor..air tank..and cords..shots..what was this..? Why does this mask smell funny..? I looked over to see my mask was connected to the air tank. Some of the other cords in my skin or just held onto my skin by some sort of tape. Well..not really tape but you know..the thing to show your heart(pulse). A doctor walked in as jake sat outside. "Ahem..sir, during the accident, we had to fix some very damaged areas such as: lungs, food and breathing pipes, leg bone, foot bone and tissues, and vocal cords. However these will gladly heal very well and yes, you are still very able to talk. As soon as everything gets better by a long shot, you'll be in a wheel chair, then use crutches, then you should be back on your feet"
They smiled at me. Fuzzy. All I could do was nod. After they left, they let jake in. Jake panting, hugged me gently so he wouldn't hurt me on accident. Softly but weakly smiling. I slowly and weakly raised my hand to pat his back. Tears in his eyes, he told me everything. How scared and worried he was, how he could've prevented it, or how he could've just took me morning shopping. Patting his back, I told him it was okay. Nodding, he held me as I continued to weakly smile. He was so nice...what..what is this feeling..?
