In Thedas we come across many great heroes who triumph over large threats. Many lesser known heroes get overshadowed. This story is about a young Dalish mage who gets forced into the Circle of Magi after her clan is attacked. She and her friends cat...
So I wanted to be able to show you how I am envisioning the characters. I will update this as I add more characters since I have yet to even decide new characters. This will also have some spoilers because you won't meet some characters for a while. I also want to explain that within the story elves may be referred to as knife ears or rabbit and elves will often refer to humans as shemlen. In the dragon age universe Elves used to be enslaved by humans. There is a lot of racial tension still prevalent within the world. There are also Qunari that are treated differently as well. Long story short the humans in Thedas can kind of be racist jerks. Hopefully our band of heroes from all races and backgrounds can try and make them see the errors of their ways.

Mahalla: Our main female protagonist is very intelligent and a woman of few words. She is an Elf who used to be part of a Dalish clan, but is now part of the Circle of Magi. She believes that it is important to think before you speak, so she makes sure to choose her words wisely and carefully. She can easily get lost in her thoughts, her surroundings, or books. In my mind I am basing her appearance on me but I don't feel comfortable sharing my look so I just found a gorgeous girl to fill the role instead :P Molly Quinn but lets imagine some freckles because I love freckles.

Dolan: Dolan is our main male protagonist and is a human. He is very devout to the Andrastian Church and is a templar. He was born into a noble family. He has four brothers, one of which is his twin. His father wanted to have one of his sons join the Templar Order so that he can show his support of the Chantry and gain favor among the people and other nobles. He tends to act first think later, often getting him into trouble with his superiors. Anyone who knows me won't be shocked to know I am having Tom Holland inspire this character, I mean look at him, do I need to say more?

Arlotto: First off this name is just the best ok? Arlotto is a templar as well, though not as devout as his best friend Dolan. He is also a human but unknown to others has elven in his bloodline. Despite the views of most people in Thedas, he treats everyone equally despite race, sexuality, gender, or religion. When first meeting him one may think he is stern and cold, but getting to know him he is actually a big softie. Obviously the handsome Timothee Chalamet had to make an appearance for this cast.

Maeve: Maeve is Mahalla's closest friend at the circle. She is a human. She first found out she was a mage in a rather tragic accident. While helping her father tend to their farm, when working in the barn she saw a rather large spider (spiders can be hella big in dragon age like as big as a dog) and in her fear conjured forward flames. It resulted in the whole barn burning down. Her family, trusting in their faith, informed the chantry and she was taken to the Circle tower. The gorgeous Antonia Gentry (currently obsessed with Ginny and Georgia at the moment)

Oliver (Formerly Mihthra): Used to female now male Elf. Only adults knew of the plans to relocate after the clan was compromised. Mihthra could not catch sight of their parents, so instead ran off with the first other Dalish they found. Piper was originally from an alienage in Denerim. Since neither of them knew were to go, Piper decided the best course of action would be to go back to the life she knew. She extended an invitation to Mihthra warning that life in the alienage was very different from life in a Dalish clan. Mihthra, confused and scared, joined the older teen. Life in the alienage was hard and Piper and Mihthra had to resort to thievery to make ends meet. They joined a less than reputable organization in order to make a living. Over the years Mihthra found their true self and realized they had never felt like they were truly in the right body. Piper, their best friend, encouraged their transition and was even the one who recommended their new name, Oliver. You know I had to make him a Weasley :P Rupert Grint face claim for the lovely Oliver
