Throughout all of class I could feel Lenny staring at me intensely, I became overwhelmed and asked to use the restroom. I roamed through the hallways and tried to collect my thoughts. How was I gonna be able to put up with Lenny as my lab partner all year? How am I gonna beat him? Will I be able to go through with this?. As I continued to wander the halls i abruptly ran into Marcus, he looked at me worriedly and grabbed my arm as he slowly caressed my face. " Oh my god, are you ok y/n you look pale and you feel warm, i should take you to the nurse" Marcus said.  " No Marcus I'm okay i just feel a bit overwhelmed and frustrated thats all." Marcus stared into my eyes intensely and suddenly hugged me, " Just let me know if you need anything, seriously" Marcus said. I had never seen him look so serious before. " Thank you Marcus, really i'm okay, I'm going to head back to class now so don't worry" i smiled. " Well ok, I hope you feel better, don't put too much pressure on yourself" Marcus smiled back as he walked to class. I turned around and in front of me stood Lenny with an annoyed look on his face. He instantly grabbed my wrist and led me into one of the janitors closets nearby. " What do you think your doing?!" I screamed. Lenny was quiet and wasn't looking at me in the eye like he normally did. Something was wrong.  "Mr. Holland sent me to look for you since you were taking a long time." Lenny said silently. " Oh.." I said back. The silence in the room became loud and I motioned towards the door to free the awkward tension in the air. Before I could grab the door handle Lenny quickly grabbed my hand and held me tightly against his body. I was shocked and I could feel my face turn red from embarrassment, "Lenny.. what are you doing!?" I could feel his abs poking through his shirt against my skin, he smelt like expensive cologne and pine wood, and his breath smelt like peppermint with a hint of marijuana in it. " What are you and Higgins?" Lenny said harshly as he pulled me closer and held my hand tighter. " what the fuck? , what do you mean?!" i yelled quietly. " Do you and Higgins have something going on?!" Lenny yelled as he looked up from the floor and into my eyes sincerely. " No what?! me and marcus have been friends since forever, we'd never be anything more, not thats it's any of your business!" I tried to push away but Lenny was stronger and pulled me in tighter. The room grew quiet again. Then quietly Lenny whispered " If you let other guys see that vulnerable side of yours , you don't know what will happen..don't let other guys grab and touch you so easily like that.. not even me.. i wouldn't be able to contain myself". He slowly lost grip of my hand , I looked up at him shocked from what i just heard. Lennys face was beet red and he was barely making eye contact with me anymore. " We should head back to class" he stuttered. " The teacher's probably worried." He walked out the door, as I stayed behind. My heart was beating out of my chest and my face was flushed, was it possible i could be feeling something like this because of Lenny Fader??
