Maddi POV
We made our way to Ryans house to plan our vacation. I was so excited! Emma, Taylor and I planned to go shopping for new clothes eventhough we all had tons already.
I didn't really speak to Grayson the whole bus ride there. I guess things were still awkward between us. I kinda still liked Grayson but I didnt want to admit it because i was dating Ryan and I would feel bad for him.
I did like Ryan, its just i guess i liked Grayson more... We had always had a thing and it just felt right being with him.
"Hey guys, wait up!" Emma shouted as the boys ran into Ryans place. "Ugh, they're so hyper today" I said as we approached the house.
We walked in and the boys were in the games room sitting on bean bags. They all had spaces next to them and one by one we joined them. Emma sat on the outside next to Grayson and Taylor sat on the other side next to Ethan leaving me in the middle of Ryan and Grayson... Wow this felt awkward!
I didnt make eye contact with either of them but i could see Ryan staring at me in the corner of my eye.
"So, has anyone started to pack yet?" Ethan asked with a smile on his face
Everyone answered simultaneously and the answer was "No" No one had even began to pack.
Ryan POV
Everyone was talking but i couldnt hear a word, i was too focused on maddi! She had been ignoring me for most of the day and now she wouldnt even look at me.
I thought i had done something wrong, but i couldnt think of anything, and then it came to me. Grayson. Theres been weird vibes coming from her and Grayson since their brakeup and i could tell she still liked him, but still i said nothing.
Suddenly i heard Ethan ask a question! I couldn't quite hear him but everyone said no so i just joined in.
It was now my goal to speak to Maddi and sort things out with her before we went on this vacation or I was sure to have the worst time ever!
Emma POV
I heard Ethan begin to speak. "So, has anyone started to pack yet?" he asked and everyone replied with a simple, no.
Started packing? I didn't even know where exactly we were going and i most certainly hadn't thought about what i was going to take!
I was always the last one to decide on things like this, but I was definately going to start packing tonight, i thought to myself!
"Hey maddi, do you wanna come over tonight?" I asked her, hoping she would say yes so she could help me pack!
"Yeah, sure!" She responded. I was so relieved because i had no clue what i was going to take.
I was about to ask Taylor and she got a call from her mom asking her to come home, so we all decided to leave.
Me and Maddi walked to my house and Ethan and Grayson walked to theirs.
We lived in opposite directions so we said goodnight and started to go. I gave Grayson a hug and i could feel Maddi staring at me, before looking away.
I knew that Grayson and Maddi used to have a thing but i didn't find it awkward at all because from what i was told, they ended things on good terms and anyway we were all good friends!
