Grayson POV
"Hey guys!" Maddi said as she came into the room where we were all sitting.
"Ugh. I'm leaving!" Ryan said
"Yeah, i have to shower so see you later everyone!" Emma said.
I saw Maddi's face drop. She began to run. Out of the room and down the stairs.
I chased after her and began to call her back.
I was going to try everything! She wasn't going to leave me.. I loved her.
Maddi POV
"Grayson get away from me!" I shouted, running down the stairs..
"No, you're not leaving me like this, come back here!" He replied chasing after me
I stopped in my tracks and turned to face him.
"Grayson, just leave me alone! I'm leaving, and you can't stop me. No one can! Why do you care so goddamn much?" I said, staring him right in the face.
"Because, i put my heart on the line for you. I love you! We've been through this... why do you care what others think? Especially when you have me" He said, as he began to smirk..
"Grayson. This is serious okay! I am losing my friends.. and i dont want that. I understand why Emma and Ryan didn't work out.. but now they are turning on me! Oh and don't forget that us being together is breaking Emma and Ryan's hearts even more!" I said, trying to make my reason look good enough.
"Maddi.. I care about them, i really do.. but they understand and no matter your reason to leave, I simply do not care! Now come on.. We're going back!" Grayson said, holding out his hand.
"Ugh... Fine. But if they say anything i am leaving.. I mean it!" I said, grabbing hold of his hand.
"Okayy! Thank you for coming back with me, i love you cutie!" He said, picking me up and spinning me around.
"I love you soo much more!" I said as he put me down and we began to walk back to the room.
Ryan POV
Maddi and Grayson came back into the room, ten minutes after i had come back!
Ethan had told me that Emma and I had upset her by leaving and that she has ran off.
I felt so bad! I know she broke my heart, but she didn't mean to. What i did was purely out of spite and it was wrong.
"Maddi listen, I am so sorry for earlier! Its just I'm still not used to seeing you and Grayson together you now?" I said, holding out my arms for a hug.
"Oh thats fine! You're taking this so well.. I'm still so sorry Ryan!" Maddi replied, as she let go of Graysons hand to hug me.
I held her for a little while and then let her go.
"Guys, wheres emma? Maddi and I want to go and see her!" Grayson said, looking around.
"Shes next door!" Alexxa said.
"Okay thanks! And is everyone still coming to the party tonight?" Grayson asked.
"Yes!" Everyone said.
"I can't wait to see Megan and Jenny tonight, its been such a long time!" Cat said.
"Three years!" Claire added.
We all looked at eachother in complete shock that we hadn't seen our best friends in three years.
"Okay well we will meet you guys back here at around 5 o'clock and then we will get ready and leave at 7ish" Maddi said.
"Sounds like a plan!" Said Taylor.
Then they left.
Emma POV
I heard a knock at the door.
"Who is it?!" I said, hoping It wasn't who i thought it was.
"Let us in, please Emma!" I heard a voice say.
I got up and opened the door. They walked straight in.
"Look Emma, we are so sorry that us being together has hurt you.. but we didn't mean for it to turn out this way! and we do love you... You should know that!" Maddi said.. Grayson, agreed of course.
"Yes i know.. but it still hurts... I can do this, i just need time! and I'm sorry I upset you earlier. Taylor told me that you ran off" I replied, mainly to Maddi.
"Yes and I'm fine now! I just want to make sure that you are completely okay!" Maddi replied.
"Well... I'm completely okay!" I lied, convincingly.
"Thats good. We love you Emma" Grayson said.
"I bet you do.. I love you too" I said, hugging them both.
"We're going to go now.. are you still coming to the party tonight?" Grayson asked.
"Yes, of course! I can't wait!" I said, genuinely happy.
"Okay, we will see you at five, and we are leaving at seven!" Maddi said.
"Okay cool" I said.
Then they left! And i was seriously glad.. Because that was so awkward.
