"No!" Hiccup fell to the ground, Astrid crouched next to him... his cries were so heart breaking. Hiccup looks up to see a body laying on the ground, Astrid helped him up and walked him to the cold body of Jackson Overland Frost. His brown hair stained with blood, his skin pale and dirty...Hiccup tried hard not to cry when he remembered the last words Jack said before he left for battle.

~Flash back~

"Do you have to go?" Hiccup asked his green eyes looking into Jack's brown eyes, "I'll be fine." Hiccup knew that Jack wasn't going to be alright his eyes were filled with fear. "Promise." Jack's eyes were welling up with tears when he hears these words...he quickly wiped his eyes with the back of his sleeve. There was a slight silence," I-I promise." Jack says even though he knew that he might not even come back alive. "I will never forget you." says Jack now crying in between words," Please don't cry...please don't." Hiccup looked into Jack's brown eyes they were leaking tears and dripping on to his leather armor. Hiccup cupped Jacks cheek and looked at him with a weak smile, Jack takes a hold pf his hand and was acting as though he wanted to keep it forever. "Come on Jack." says a voice behind them, it was Stoik, Jack looks up at Stoik then at Hiccup, "Jack please.....don't leave me." Hiccup's voice wasn't it's usual timid voice, it was filled with worry. "Jack lets go." Stoik was becoming impatient, Jack felt a jerk on his shoulder, Jack held onto Hiccup's hand even tighter. Quickly Hiccup runs up to Jack and wraps his arms around Jack's waist,"Please don't' leave!" Hiccup was crying as he wrapped his arms around Jack's waist. "Gobbert." Stoik's voice was so stern that Jack even got worried what was going to happen," Hiccup let go." Jack was heart broken when he said this to Hiccup. Gobbert quickly walked over to Hiccup and picked him up, Hiccup was kicking frantically trying to get Gobbert to let go of him," Jack!" Hiccup cried watching Jack fade in the distance. "Don't give up hope Hic!" Shouts Jack and that was the last time Hiccup saw Jack......

~End of Flash back~

Hiccup was kneeling next to Jack's body," You promised." he whispered in a raspy voice, "why did you have to go?" Hiccup closed his eyes. Flash backs of when Jack and Hiccup were laying on the ground looking up at the stars, or when they would wrestle in the thicket just outside their house. I will never fall in love again Hiccup started to cry softly," I love you." Astrid looked down at the ground and started to cry also. "I'm too late." Hiccup slowly got up and turned around and walked away from the body of his dead best friend. I will never.....love...............again.
