"that's a vibe" bk sung along passing the blunt to her friend, "you ate this song up mama" bk complimented smiling at the girl "thank you" jhené spoke, she'd always blush when getting compliments from the other.
"she really did" megan agreed taking the blunt from bk, jhené had brought all her friends down to the studio so they could give her feedback and so far she was liking the feedback she was getting.
"y'all are too kind" jhené smiled looking down at her lap, she was a blushing mess which megan found quite cute "sorry i'm late" coi apologized walking through the door "hey lil lightskin" trippie greeted kissing the girl on the forehead as she sat down.
"we the same color, but hi" coi spoke kissing her boyfriend back, bk just rolled her eyes and sighed she had a huge ass crush on coi but refused to admit it even though it was very obvious "problem brooklyn" trippie questioned in more of a taunting voice.
bk ignored the boy and stood up "i'm gonna go, uh call me later jhené" bk spoke grabbing her bookbag, and with that she left the studio — bk wasn't too far away before she heard footsteps behind her "brook" coi called out from behind the girl, bk rolled her eyes and turned around.
bk didn't say anything she just stared "why'd you leave" she asked now face to with her friend "you know exactly why i left" bk spoke trying to turn back around but the smaller grabbed her arm.
"is it because of michael—" bk cut her off "no, it's not because of anybody", and by saying that she was lowkey contradicting herself.
the two stood in silence for a while, bk couldn't think of anything to say but she knew that coi wanted answers "i'm just tired" bk spoke softly as she looked down at the girl, coi frowned since bk was obviously lying.
"hey um, it's pretty late want me to walk you home" coi questioned as she gave her friend a tight lipped smile "sure" bk shrugged as she continued walking.
it wasn't necessarily awkward but bk felt a little tension between her and the younger, "how are you gonna get back to the studio" bk asked glancing over at the girl, "i'll catch an uber" coi responded "it's too late, something bad might happen" bk spoke to which coi agreed with.
"i'll take my chances though, since michael is probably worried" coi shrugged, bk once again rolled her eyes at the mention of trippie no matter how hard she tried to like michael she just couldn't.
"brooklyn" the lightskin called out right as she was about to close her door, "hm" bk hummed "i changed my mind, is it okay if i stay with you" coi begged intertwining her hands, bk chuckled and nodded "yeah, come in".
