Reaction- It opened a nostalgic memory to those that watched the show especially since it had been 5 years since the end of the show and both the cast and the views had grown up so much since the show ended, it also spiked a rerun time on OCN and the show got certificated as a classic for the coming of age and school dramas genres.

While he was dating Hyo Joo Jin Soo was suspended to be in a relationship so for a while he couldn't meet up with her for a bit so he decided to pull a Seohyun and only went to 4 places: University, Work, his home and a cute little cafe near his home. In the cafe he would sometimes bring his University material and study for his lessons after 2 months of following Jin Soo the reporter gave up because he would just do those 4 things and the juiciest thing they saw was Jin Soo meeting his little sister Soo Jung at the cafe and meeting one of his favourite Noonas, Song Hyo Kyo for lunch.

Reaction- Many people laughed at the fact that all the reporters where able to uncover is that Jin Soo is a really busy person that in those two months he was followed he could only meet two people and they felt really sorry for him because at the time he was only 21 and at his peak but wouldn't really get to live out his younger years by going out and having fun/ enjoying his young age due to his schedule.

A few months after returning from the marine corps and publicising his already long term relationship with NANA from After School, Jin Soo and Jin Ah were caught in a store buying multiple products one of which included a pack of condoms. The news of the nation's eternal little brother and his girlfriend buying condoms even made national news on KBS news.

Reaction- to be completely honest many people didn't care and even netizens were chill about it instead they bashed KBS for making a big deal about a 26 year old man and woman, who are in a long term relationship, being back together post his military discharge after having to be apart for almost 2 years. The netizens even applauded the couple for using protection.
The only people that cared about it were Jin Soo's younger fan's parents but when they uploaded their disapproval many Netizens jumped in to defend Jin Soo and reminded these parents that Jin Soo is a 26 year old grown man in a serious relationship, not a 16 year old boy who gets surrounded by fangirls every time he is outside anymore.
