By the time they'd recapped everything, much to Loki's displeasure, both Strange and Loki were falling asleep at the table, so Stephen offered that, if he wanted, Loki could sleep on the sofa for the night. It'd be comfier than an alleyway floor, he could have lots of cushions, although it wasn't guaranteed he wouldn't wake up in the morning by a cloak wanting to play fetch, which was not normally a problem in most hotel rooms. Loki accepted the offer, though within the negotiations he included that he was not to be badgered about the plan for a full hour after he'd woken up in the morning. Stephen agreed, trudged upstairs and fell asleep as soon as he collapsed on his bed.

Strangely, as he'd expected to have dreams about today's events and their plan to save the multiverse, the only dreams he had were about puppies and kittens frolicking in the woods. Very strange. (No, that's not a pun. As previously mentioned, Strange doesn't do puns.)

In the morning, almost straight after he'd woken up, Stephen checked his emails to see whether the people he'd contacted had replied. Neither had, so he sent another email:

Subject: DANGER IN THE MULTIVERSE – DOCTOR STRANGE NEEDS YOU!

Hi.

Sorry about disturbing what I'm sure is a very busy life for you, but I need your help. To put it simply, in a few other dimensions there is a group of evil rogue wizards (like me, but evil-er) plotting to take down all the wizards in this dimension. And every other dimension, but this one is more important. Anyway, I and one other person need your help because I can't call upon my fellow wizards in case I tip the multiverse into chaos and everyone will probably die, and I really don't want to be that guy.

I already have a plan but I need you to help me because your power will give us a better chance of eliminating this threat without casualties, like a 40% chance of pulling this off, when it currently stands about 30%.

Please consider helping, and if you agree, come to 177A Bleecker Street in New York by 11am this morning, or if you need better transport I can come find you and make you a portal to get here.

Thank you very much for your time.

Dr Stephen Strange :)

Well, it wasn't veryinformative, but it'd do. Stopping briefly to turn the notification volume to100, so the whole street could probably hear it, he grabbed his cloak and wentdownstairs for breakfast.
