When a lot of people tell you you're dying, you loose hope. You loose your happiness. You get scared when you're in bed at night, wondering.. What if I won't wake up again? What if this was my last breath? I'm so grateful for the people around me. Who has always been there for me. My best friends Veronica Lodge, Archie Andrews and Kevin Keller.. They've always loved me the way I am. They all come over every weekend, so I won't feel lonely. Every birthday we celebrated it like it was my last.. 17 years in a row. I missed a lot of school. In elementary school I've almost skipped one full year. Luckily that wasn't the most important one so I could still go to high school. I'm a senior on Riverdale high. My parents told me this morning that I can go to school tomorrow again. It's like a miracle happened! I finally got back some of my hope. I'm Betty Cooper and this is my story.
