Chapter : seven

" Man this definitely sucks " jack said stretching as he just woke up after a long yesterday .
Yesterday was out of ordinary for jack , he had  became friends with no one other than the boogyman himself and for some freaking reason he liked it.

Jack suddenly ran as fast as his feet could run , he felt the wind along side him .
" Is something wrong?" He sensed the wind worry in that simple question , it was making sure that jack knew that it had his back no matter what he did, even if he was now pitch black first and probably only Friend .

" someone's here " jack stated.
" who ? " asked the wind .
" some spirits , I believe that they are the ones I fought earlier , the autumn and the spring spirits" jack answered.
" how did you know ? " It asked again.
" spirits can sense other spirits presence " jack said.
" not necessarily that they like each other " jack added.
" it's as a radar or something " he continued.
" I see , what now ?, what are you going to do? " asked the wind .
" maybe if I wasn't occupied answering your questions I would have thought of a solution " jack said.
" sorry " muttered the wind.

jack hid at the opening of the slide cave hoping to gain some time to think.
" why are you hiding? " wondered the wind.
" let's knock them down off their feet " it continued.
" I don't like to fight you know that " jack stated.
" yes I know, but why not though?
With the current situation you can finish them both in an instance !! "
Said the wind .
" wind stop it, do I have to remind you of what would happen if I lost control again " jack protested.
" okay, okay I'll shut up " said the wind.
" plz , you sound just like pitch "
Said jack.
" I have nothing in common with that idiot !! " blowed the wind on jack's face .

" they are leaving " said jack practically to himself.
" isn't weird? , why would they leave if they sensed you ? " said the wind.
" I don't know, maybe they are testing me to see if I would come out to face them " he said.
" we should await here for a couple of minutes " he continued.

Jack and the wind waited anxiously for a few minutes until they started to get board , and jack no longer sensed the spirits presence .
They got out from the cave and decided that finding jack's staff was their first priority.

They searched for seven hours covering half of the continent, going through every icy crack, every cliff , and every cave in the whole space , there wasn't a single trace of the staff .
Jack huffed in frustration as he threw his body against the solid ground.
" what now ? " asked the wind.
As if it was an answer to the wind question, they heard the impudent
Sound of pitch's nightmare horse.

" evening jack " said pitch .
" Hi " jack replied.
" you seem a bit on the edge, what happened? " asked pitch after seeing jack's face.
" the spirits from the other day were here a few hours ago " jack said.
" are you okay? , did you fight them? , are you hurt ? " pitch rushed him with questions.
" I'm fine " was what jack said.
" they left when they didn't find me" jack added.
" oh " said pitch.
" what are doing here anyway, I thought that you were collecting fear " said jack.
" I did, I finished early so I thought that we can do something " said pitch.
" let's go somewhere else , I'm kind of board from being here all the time " said jack.
" let's go to the woods " jack suggested.
" what on earth we will be doing at the woods at this time " pitch protested.
" you do realize that it's 8:00pm right?" He continued.
" come onnnn , it will be fun , you'll see " jack pleaded .
" alright, get on then " said pitch as he created a nightmare horse for jack to ride .
" this is going to be a looong night"
pitch took a deep breath . And with that they took off to the woods .

Once they got there jack started to go deeper among the tall old trees.
" jack wait , where are you going?" screamed pitch as he thought jack was far away from hearing considering how deep in the forest he went .
