On 30 June 2018, the day when Jeonghan was going to present his first solo to his audience. He had been preparing it over the past few months with Bumzu. The boy had relied everything on his natural sensuality to give the carats a wonderful show.
The fandom was not the only one to have its eyes on the boy. Backstage, the other members of Seventeen were watching the screen that showed what was happening on stage with attention. When the music started, the first exclamations went up at the beauty of the boy on the screen. Seungcheol looked at him without taking his eyes off him for a second. His boyfriend was beautiful and was totally fulfilled by performing this song. He hid the incessant smile that tickled his lips.
His eyes went to the other people in the room who also seemed to be enjoying what they were seeing. A pang of jealousy pricked Seungcheol's heart. While he was used to seeing this sensual side of Jeonghan in their love life, he didn't necessarily appreciate that everyone else could enjoy it or that worse people fantasized about him.
"He's beautiful. "Seokmin gawked as Seungcheol smiled slightly. Indeed he was. And this beautiful person was his.
Many such comments were made throughout the performance, accentuating the leader's jealousy but also, he was really proud of his boyfriend.
After his three minutes on stage alone, Jeonghan went backstage to make room for the next member. The staff and Joshua welcomed him with applause. Joshua was also there because he had to go after him. The angel had been under a lot of stress before going on stage, but his performance had been beyond his expectations.
The second oldest of the group rushed into the room where the members could watch the performance while changing their clothes. As expected, he was met with rapturous applause when he returned. He barely had time to see Seungcheol before the leader had disappeared when he started talking with Seungkwan and Soonyoung. He looked around the room for him but did not see him. His eyebrows furrowed.
"Have you seen Seungcheol? "The two boys he was talking to replied negatively.
"The next group choreography is in 25 minutes, I'll go get him. "He hurried down the hallway, starting to look around for his boyfriend.
After a few minutes of searching as Jeonghan was getting impatient, he was interrupted by a staff member.
"Jeonghan-ssi, your performance was outstanding," the man, who must have been in his thirties, congratulated him.
"Uh, thank you. "Jeonghan smiled politely as the man in front of him returned it.
"No, but it's true. Probably the best performance of the evening. "Jeonghan almost blushed. But he was very embarrassed because he could see where this was going.
"Thank you that's really nice, I'm sorry I'm looking for Seungcheol. Do you know where he is?"
"I haven't seen him. He can't be far away anyway. " Jeonghan nodded as he bit his lip, looking around again.
