Chapter 5

I jumped off of the stool that I was sitting on and ran to the door before Dean. I stopped at the door. Quickly caught my breath and opened the door to my Aunt Kayle holding a baby carrier. I stepped to the side and allowed her to walk in. I smiled at her. She went to the living room and sat down on the couch. "Where is my brother at?" she asked as she put the baby carrier next to her. Dean walked in and said "At work it was important."
I sat down on the coffee table in front of my aunt and waited for her to let us see the baby. She took him out of his seat and held him do that he was facing me and Dean who was behind me. As soon as Jorydon saw us he smiled the cutest baby smile I had ever seen. I smiled at him and stretched my arms out wanting to hold him. My aunt smiled at me and handed him to me. He kept smiling while he was in my arms. I looked up at Dean who had his eyes glued on the baby. It was so cute to see Dean look at something other than girls. I lifted the baby up a bit trying to see if Dean wanted to hold him. Dean took him and sat down on the couch making faces at him and making funny sounds with his mouth. I couldn't help but have a smile on my face. I walked into the kitchen and couldn't seem to get the smile off of my face. Lacey sent me a text:
Girly, are you ready to come over and get ready to go to the beach house.?
I shook my head as she read the text in my head. She never gives up now does she.?
I texted back:
Aunt is here with the baby. Maybe in a lil while when they have left. You can start putting on your face without me there. See you later. I love you.!
It didn't talk her long to respond back.
Kase, can I come and see the baby.? We can get dressed at your house. I would just have to bring over well like my whole room but can I.?
Lacey was my family. She knew everything that happened in my house.
Sure just text me before you get here. I will have you warn my aunt first. Be quiet too just in case he is asleep when you get here.
I couldn't help but smile thinking about my best friend actually holding a baby. She has always been the one who said that she never wanted kids but this will be a first for me. Lets how this is gonna go down.

About 20 minutes after Lace asked if she can come over, she was sitting on the couch next to Dean. They were both looking at the baby that Lace was holding. She actually looked pretty happy.
I looked at the clock and it read: 11:11
I sent Lace a text:
I think we should be getting ready. I mean if you still want to go to the party.
I smiled as she read the message. She looked as if she completely forgotten. She probably forgot because she had the baby in her hands. Lol
Go to your room and get it ready for me. I'll be up in 5.
Is what she sent back. I smiled and went up to my room and cleaned it up some getting it ready for Lacey.
