The sight is awful and gruesome. What looks like a female student has a large bite mark in her neck, blood pooling from the missing chunk of skin and leaving a puddle around her stiff body. Rhydian's eyes grow wide as he takes it all in.

The dead body's face is frozen, fear in her wide, brown eyes. Her mouth is wide open, stuck in a silent scream, revealing blood staining her white teeth and filling her mouth. No other wound was inflicted upon her. It appears to just be a large area of flesh and muscle ripped from the side of her neck, showing the jugular.

Mrs. O'Reilly lets out a whimpering cry before quickly covering her mouth with her hand and looking away. She looks to Mr. Carney, her eyes seeming to ask him what to do.

Prying his eyes away from the dead teenager, he scans the small cluster of students as they oversee the disturbing murder. His wide eyes land on the red-haired woman.

"Get the students away, and I'll call the police." he whispers in a rush, fumbling with his phone in his back pocket.

Rhydian picks up an odd, overbearing scent from behind him. He pinches his nose, cringing at the intense smell, his face scrunching up on instinct.

"I've already called the police, sir." A female's voice chimes from behind the teenage boy, her voice wavering slightly.

Rhydian spins around, confused about the smell. His eyes meet with a short female with dark green eyes and light brown hair. She wears a green tie paired with a dark-grey pleated skirt that has a green line around its hem; implying that she is a student.

His eyes shift to the girl leaning against her. He finally realizes where the smell is coming from. This girl is radiating with rose scented perfume, and some other odd smell he can't understand.

She's taller than the brown-haired girl, hunching over as she leans onto the shorter girl's shoulder. Her black bangs cover her eyes from his view, giving her a mysterious, almost ominous look.

His eyes scan down the black-haired girl's body. Her thin figure contrasts with her B-cup breast size, but her silhouette holds an elegant hourglass shape, even with her small amount of body fat. Her outfit implies that she is also a student at this college. Her entire body is trembling, and her breathing is rapid and uneven.

He examines her thin legs. They're wobbling and unsteady, which is probably why she has to stay leaned against the shorter girl.

Rhydian can't seem to stop himself from asking. "Is she all right?" he questions the brown-haired girl, quickly removing his fingers from his nose, realizing that it probably looks quite odd that he's pinching it for no apparent reason.

The short girl's eyes flick up to him, her brows crinkling at him before she glances at the girl on her shoulder. Her eyes soften at the girl, pity in her expression. "Blood makes her queazy." She explains, better wrapping the taller girl's arm around her shoulder.

Mr. Carney comes up from behind Rhydian, cringing at the taller girl as he examines her sickly appearance. "Take her to the nurse." he demands with a wavering voice, shooing the two girls away with his hands.

"Rhydian," the man says suddenly, pointing at the girls as they start to turn around. "You go with them in case Ella needs help with the new girl."

Rhydian gives a hesitant nod, not wanting to walk with the odd smelling girl, but knowing he has no choice but to comply. With the two girls already making their way back inside, the blonde-haired boy jogs to catch up with them. He figures to just follow from behind, with him not having the faintest idea of where he's going.

As soon as they're a few steps inside, the new girl takes in a large breath, almost like she was holding it in while she was outside. Ella takes notice, turning to the taller girl before helping her lean against a wall.

The black-haired girl lifts her head, her sky blue eyes piercing through Rhydian before she turns her head to Ella. "Thanks," she chimes in a soft, almost timid tone. "But I feel better now that we're away from it all."

Rhydian immediately picks up on the American accent, figuring that she's a foreign-exchange student like himself.

'Maybe that's why she smells like that.' he speculates, his nose scrunching up on instinct. Something in his gut says no to the speculation, but he isn't sure why, so he figures to keep his guard up around this foreigner.

Ella smiles at the taller girl. "Okay," she says in a peppy tone. "As long as you're feeling well."

And with that, the foreigner gives a thankful grin and pushes herself off of the wall, and heads down the large hall.

Rhydian glances at Ella with worry in his gaze. She shrugs in response, not fully understanding the girl's odd behavior either, but chooses not to question her quirks.

Rhydian's eyes shift to look past the short girl, watching the foreigner hurriedly make her way down the hall before she turns left and disappears from his sight.

"So," Ella says, causing Rhydian's eyes to flick back to her. "You know the story of the Brickwood Biter?"

He furrows his brows, slowly shaking his head. He figures that's the name they gave the murderer - with the bitings taking place in Brickwood and all. In his curiosity, he'll happily hear what she knows, otherwise he knows he'll pry about it to her later.

"They started last year," she starts, staring at the ground,  her tone a bit on edge. He can tell she's thinking back on darker times.

"And at first they thought it was one of the students. But, when they checked the bite marks, it would be impossible for any human to have made those. Every other lead has been met with a dead end, so the students started a rumor that there's a large wolf breed roaming around."

Rhydian's blood runs cold at her last sentence. Out of all the colleges he could have chosen, and it had to be this one, the one with a murderer.

Ella looks up at him, making sure he's listening. "So, now we have a curfew. If you stay out past eight, you'll probably be taken to detention and held for questioning."

Rhydian nods, glad to have that information, but off-put by her serious tone and expression. The thought of a giant wolf - or murderous wolfblood - loose on campus is terrifying. But, what's worse is, why hasn't this college been shut down?

Ella bows her head, giving a quick "bye" before she starts heading down the hall. She turns right where the odd smelling girl had turned left.

Rhydian takes in a deep breath, seeing the two trails that the foreigner and Ella left behind, leaving him with two ways to go. He grits his teeth, thinking to himself. 'Be a stalker and go left? Or catch up with Ella and ask where the dorm homes are?'

He ponders each option. A slight smirk makes its way onto his lips as an idea forms. 'Or catch up with the foreigner and ask her where the dorm homes are.'

He grins at that option, quietly jogging down the hall, following the odd scent of the new girl.
