It has just been a week since the exam and... yeah, that incident happened. We are to not know the results since it's kind of a way of the teachers to get to know our knowledge. It's almost the Foundation Day of the school so I bet it's gonna be a hell lot of hectic schedule which could be routines starting right now.
"I want everyone in this class to participate. So it's nearing foundation day and we need to have cheerdancers. I am just gonna pick six persons per class and," Mister Julian cleared his throat and looked back the class' way, "I am gonna pick ten potentials. You have to audition right in front of me regardless of your will," he smirked and sat on the teacher's table, crossing his legs. It didn't even take the transferees a minute to realize that he's...
Gay.
Obviously gay.
"Kevin and Demi, of course my dancers. You will have the privilege to choose." Kevin stood with Demi and they went on front to scan the entire class for the potentials. Actually, Demi was not that good at dancing and neither does she look good but it's none of my business why she got in for the Dance Club.
"Ezra," Kevin gestured for Ezra to come on front. Well, she is good at gymnastics so she is definitely fit for the image. "Michaela," Demi smiled at her and she nodded. "Rein, definitely Rein," Kevin beamed at Rein who was staring directly at the board obviously drifting his mind off to something but nonetheless, he came on front and forced a smile on his lips. "Hmm.. I don't know anymore," Kevin frowned at Mister Julian.
"Let your potentials choose then."
"I do have one suggestion," Rein grinned at me and looked at Mister Julian.
"Miss Stella."
SHOOT.
I stood briskly and started to open my mouth when suddenly Mister Julian interrupted, "Alright! I guess that's all and we should just put away the audition since this is the exact amount I want," he beamed with happiness.
Me?
CHEERDANCE?!
Are you kidding me?!
* * *
"Stell?" Ezra asked with worry hung on her face. This was going on since the day I've been picked as a cheerdancer and I..
"I want to quit.." I whispered at Ezra while despairing in my own seat. "You can't though," she patted my shoulder, "I'll just teach you then so it'd be okay, right?" she gave me a look of sympathy.
Then it happened. The person I least wanted to see today walked in the classroom with an evil look on his eyes and a smirk on his lips that looked satisfied with whatever that happened. Regardless, he looks.. damn handsome. Wait, no. That look was because of me being chosen and he does know I couldn't dance that good. Or does he? I stood infuriated across him with resentful eyes and pointed him slowly with my pointer finger.
"YOU."
"What?" He chuckled and a look of amusement came over his expression.
"YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE!" I yelled at him which obviously gave him a hint that I'm displeased and chafed so he better stand back or I'll punch! But I don't know how to punch...
"Bitter," he smirked and turned his back from me, "Ah, but I am indeed unbelievable," from that said, he walked out of the room calmly.
"Oh that was a cool exit," Aurora giggled and I just sighed, frustration hanging on my face.
"No Aurora, it isn't cool," My right eye twitched and Ezra tried calming me down. "Psssh, that's just a love quarrel. Don't worry I'll bet you two will last more than that," she chuckled.
"EZRA!"
"Oops, sorry Stell. I had to. You two look impossibly cute!" She sighed dreamily. Did I mention that Ezra's like the 'Queen of Cupids' because she loves pairing couples. But mind you, she doesn't like having a boyfriend and have turned down half the population of the men here at school! Okay, that was just exaggerating.
"Oh, what's that? I wouldn't want to hear that from someone who secretly has a crush," I smirked at her and she seemed to blush..? "Oh my god. My dear Ezra has a crush for real?!"
"NO!"
"Yes. I know you too well~"
"N-no I don't!"
"Now tell me who the lucky man is!"
"I definitely don't have one!"
"I'll annoy you till the end of the school year and I will tell the class your secret and just assume someone as your crush and tell everyone."
"That's evil."
"I'm giving you 5 seconds."
"You can't!"
"5..."
"First of all I don't....."
"4.."
"I don't have one really, I'm just kidding ahaha.."
"Liar. 3..."
"Ahaha.."
"2..."
"Well..."
"1! EVERYONE! EZRA HAS A--"
"Okay okay, I'll tell you!" I gasped for air as she let go of my mouth which was cuffed by her hand a while ago. I stared at her in amusement and tried to contain my laugh that is threatening to spill any moment now.
"Zander," she whispered in my ear that anyone around could barely hear and I burst into laughter. "What?" she eyed me curiously. "Good choice, you two are really alike," I simpered. Finally, she has someone that she likes.
"And even if you don't tell me I know that you like Rein," she muttered and chuckled as I blushed madly. "See? That blush proves it."
"I hate it when you know me too well than I know you."
