BOKUTO HAD CONVINCED YOU TO GO WITH DAISHO TO CLASS.

It sorta made since, since you both went to the same university. You had your car at end of the street, so I'd make since that you'd drive both of you. Yet the ride was awkward. Halfway to the university, Daisho turned to you.

"Are you good at advice?" You glanced towards him, a surprised look on your face. "I'd like to think so."

"Are you any good at relationship advice?" Your eyes widened slightly again as you nodded, a soft smile coming to you face. "Oddly enough yes."

He went silent again, looking down at his lap. "Can I ask you something then..."

You nodded, a small hum coming from your throat as you rolled the window up, focusing on his voice and the road in front of you.

"My girlfriend and I are in a fight... but I don't think I'm in the wrong." You glanced towards him, waiting for him to continue. "She doesn't like for me to have any female friends... or even really talk to other girls about anything. If she knew I was talking to you then she would kill me. But she's oddly close to this guy and she said I was overreacting... it escalated from their and she blamed me for having trust issues and made it seem like she was the victim."

Your eyebrows furrowed. "What makes you so off about this other guy?"

He huffed. "He always has his hands on her in some way... on her waist or holding her hand. His arm around her shoulder... I caught him hand feeding her and she said I was blowing things out of proportion."

Your body relaxed slightly, your smile turning into a deep frown. "Do you want the truth or do you want me to sugar coat it cause we don't know each other?"

He stared at your side profile for a solid minute in silence. "The truth."

"Your not going to like it." He still nodded. "Tell me."

"She's cheating on you."

His eyes widened. "I'd be completely on your side in this argument, there's nothing wrong with you being uncomfortable with this. It's all on her right now."

"You think they're sleeping together?"

"No, if they were they wouldn't be so open together, guilt is too much for that. Unless she is and she doesn't feel guilty."

"If you think she isn't then how is it cheating?"

You glanced over to him, a wary smile coming to your face. "How open is your relationship? It's just you guys right a completely closed relationship?"

He nodded. "Relationships are normally about the intimacy, having a connection with someone. Having non platonic intimacy with other people, sex included or not, it's still cheating unless you've talked about it being allowed in the relationship. She's having emotional intimacy with other people, even though you talked about how your not comfortable with it, she didn't respect your boundaries. She seems toxic. Manipulative at the least."

Daisho went silent again as you pulled into the parking lot.

You parked and got out, him following suit. Your bag was firmly on your back as he mindlessly carried his in one hand. You walked side by side as he stared at the ground.

"Your girlfriend..." he looked up at you, snapping out of his trance. "She wouldn't be happy about a girl living with you... would she."

He shook his head. "That's why I vetoed on you living with us... sorry. You actually seem pretty cool."

"Yeah I know."

"About you being cool? Or me vetoing about you?"

"Both... I wasn't easedropping you guys just got really loud... sorry."

He nodded. "That's a habit with us... so what class are you going to?"

"Electrical engineering. You?"

"Definitely not that. Business." You hummed. Those classes weren't that far from each other. You both walked in silence as you entered the building. Looking around, you could recognize the faces that you passed everyday. The girl who always wore a messy bun, no makeup. The guy who was leaning again the wall with his headphones around his neck, talking with two other guys. The late guy in jeans who had little to no time to get to his next class, running past you.

Sometimes it felt so... surreal. Walking down the halls to see the same event as always. Everything felt like it was slowing down, or that your brain was speeding up. Yet your body moved just as slowly as everyone else. Muffled voices flew through your ears, your brain singling out different voices and different conversations. It felt as if you could dream freely in this time.

The sound of a familiar voice brought you back to reality.

"L/n? L/n are you okay?" Daisho snapped his fingers in front of your face. When you seemed responsive again, he smiled slightly and adjusted his bag. "Do you do any sports? Clubs?"

You nodded. "I'm on the track team."

"Track? Are you any good?" You nodded. "I have a scholarship because I broke a second back at my high school."

"Wow congratulations. Me and a few other guys in the house play volleyball." You raised a brow. "Volleyball? Are you any good?"

He rolled his eyes at the copied question. "I was captain in high school. We made it to nationals. So did a few others. In fact all of us were captains of different teams."

You nodded. Daisho seemed to be warming up to you. Which was good. If you could get him to like you, most likely you could move in. Due to not having another place to go, you prayed that they let you.
