Aether pov;
'I hate you brother..'
'Lumine..'
'You are a disgrace.'

I woke up, sweating and trying to catch my breath. I hate having these nightmares...they keep tormenting me, every night since we were seperated. I got up quietly to not wake the others up, and got to the kitchen (The main room and the kitchen are in the same room, okay? I will draw a plan for you guys and put it in the next chapter.) to get myself a glass of water. I took a pot, where it was written 'Drinkable Water' and poured myself some in a small cup.
"Oh, you're awake?"
I choked on my water and turned around to see Diluc. I coughed a little and got my air back-
"Hey Diluc, why are up so late?"
"I could ask you the same thing."
"Okay, you got a point-" I finished drinking my water and sat down at the near table since I didn't feel like going back to sleep.
"Couldn't sleep?"
"No, I had a nightmare actually."
"Do you mind telling me what it was about?" He asked
"I can tell you I guess."
Author pov;
"Well, I was surrounded by darkness, I couldn't see anything.. Then my sister appeared and other people I knew too, they all started saying mean things and stuff but I'm used to these nightmares now, doesn't mean I like them though." The boy said
"Wow..that was something, huh?"
"Like I said, I'm used to it." He mumbled
"Now that I think about it, where's your sister?" The red-head questioned
"She's... I don't..know actually.."
"Oh, well I'm sorry to hear that."
"Mhm." Aether said as he layed his head on the small table,
"You know, I lost a member of my family too"
"Really?"
"Yeah, I just wanted you to know you aren't the only one"
Silence filled the main room, we could hear the boys/girls snoring in their seperate rooms. Heck! We could even hear the bugs wandering around in the base!
"Well I'm going to go back to sleep. Goodnight Aether." Diluc said as he left the room
"Okay, goodnight!"
Hours passed and the blonde finally decided to go back to sleep as well.
