Marinade stood across from Felix and Claude behind the couch where her young madame sat. She used the appropriate posture as always with her eyes slightly lowered. Her arms folded behind her back respectfully. Felix couldn't help but give the head maid kudos. She had better discipline than most young maids that came from nobility.
The blonde-haired male eyes wandered towards the young maid then back to his only heir. He tilted his head lightly humming. His hands cupping his cross knees.
'What's going on?'
Athy questions herself.
Her back straightened and legs glued together lightly swaying to the side her eyes roaming around the room avoiding the man across from her.
'She's disciplined properly too.'
Felix thought awing at the etiquettes of the little girl.
Claude positioned his fist under his chin leaning in.
"You didn't teach my child how to speak?'
" she can speak properly I guess she just doesn't like you."
Miranda retorted causing Claude to raise his eyebrow looking back at Athanasia who inwardly wailed shrieking back once Claude looked back at her.
'You aren't helping you want him to kill us!!!'
Claude crossed his arms humming.
"Is that true?"
Athy bit her lip forcing a closed eye smile. Tilting her head to try to give off the sweetest look she can.
"Athy do like you."
She giggles out.
Miranda applauded Athanasia acting skills she would never be that good.
"So now I finally get to hear your voice."
Claude murmured pushing his chin up with a slight head tilt.
"Why did you not speak until now?"
Claude questions causing Felix to bend down near his ear.
"Pardon me, your majesty, but children near the princess' age are known to be shy."
"Is that so?"
Claude queried looking up at Marianda who nodded her head in agreement.
"I guess you wouldn't know that would you."
Miranda stated foreshadowing something.
Athasiasis simply thought she was implying that he never visited her castle.
'You jerk kids can be shy!'
'Even a grown-up can fall silent in front of you.'
Athanasia thought forcing a grin when Claude look back at her.
But she was sobbing on the inside.
