It was the next day as Y/n woke up next to Iris as he blushed at how cute she looked while sleeping. Not wanting to wake her or their pokemon up by moving out of bed he decided to look at the recordings of ash's battles in the league to see how he fights(Y/N is wearing headphones)so that he could think of a strategy to beat Ash. However he didn't care about what pokemon Ash used in the recordings as he thought that Ash would battle with new pokemon from his previous journeys like he did in sinnoh. Just as Y/N was formulating a plan Iris woke up with a similar blush like Y/N had at the fact that she slept with her new boyfriend.
Iris:(With happiness in her voice)Good morning Y/N!
Iris had a large smile as Y/N returned with a similar smile as Iris.
Y/N:Good morning sweetie
As he said this Iris became red as she covered her face with a pillow. The two pokemon partners in the room were now waking up as they greeted their trainers, chuckling at the scene.
Iris:Are you ready for your match. Ash is very good
Y/N:I am ready I have been accessing his battle style and I am ready to battle
Iris shows a smile as her boyfriend and friend were going to have a fun match
1 hour timeskip
It was now time for the semi-finals of the league as Ash and Y/N were now at opposite ends of the battlefield.
Ref:This will be a six on six battle with substitutions allowed.May both trainers please send out their first pokemon
(Ash's team is changed so that he can matchup against Y/N. It is pikachu, krookadile, charizard, infernape, sceptile and snorlax against Y/N's Gyarados, Hydreigon, Garchomp, Lapras, Dragonite and Altaria.
Ash/Y/N:Go Pikachu/Gyarados!
The two pokemon entered the battle field as the battle began
Ash:Use thunderbolt then electroball
Pikachu then started to spark lightning as a bolt of lightning dashed towards the atrocious pokemon.
Y/N:Use Hydro pump to block both attacks then use dragon dance
The bolt of lightning was blocked by a blast of water as it dispersed the electroball in similar fashion. Gyarados then twirled in the air glowing blue.
Ash:Pikachu return
Pikachu ran back to Ash as the raven haired trainer got a pokeball out as Y/N used this to use another dragon dance.
Ash:Go Sceptile!
He sent out the hoenn grass starter as it got ready to battle
Ash/Y/N:Use leaf blade/earthquake
Sceptics rushed at Gyarados but not before being hit by earthquake as it still managed to hit the atrocious pokemon with a glowing leaf blade. The trainers then retaliated with another series of earthquakes and leaf blades which then cause sceptile to glow green
Ash/Y/N:Overgrow
Ash:Use frenzy plant!
Sceptile slammed it's claws in the ground as roots came out a charged towards Gyarados but before the serpentine creature could retaliate the roots slammed into it, knocking it out
Ref: Gyarados is unable to battle. Sceptile wins. Y/N please send out your next pokemon.
Y/n got his pokeball out
Y/N:Go Garchomp!
The mach pokemon emerges out of his pokeball.
Y/N:Use dragon dance then Flamethrower
Ash:Use quick attack to dodge it
However sceptile was to slow and was still very injured by Gyarados's earthquake to dodge and was hit by Flamethrower.
Ref:Sceptile is unable to battle. Garchomp wins. Ash please send out your next pokemon
Ash:Go snorlax!
The sleeping pokemon came out of his pokeball ready to battle
Ash/Y/N:Use ice punch/Dragon dance
As snorlax charges at ice punch but making advantage of how slow snorlax is Y/N uses dragon dance to raise attack and speed. The fist of ice smashes into Garchomp with very effective damage as the mach pokemon glowed a dark blue.
Y/N:While snorlax is close use earthquake and then dragon rush.
The sinnoh pseudo-legendary pokemon shakes the arena, smashing into snorlax as a holographic dragon surrounded Garchomp and he rushed to snorlax.
Ash:Use ice puch
The two attacks collide as both pokemon are sent back
Ash/Y/N:Use hyper beam/Flamethrower
The two beam attacks collided as a giant puff of smoke appeared l. As the smoke dispersed and both pokemon fainted.
Ref:Snorlax and Garchomp are unable to battle. Both trainers send out your next pokemon.
Ash and Y/N both thanked their pokemon for their efforts before returning them to their pokeballs
Ash/Y/N:Go Krookadile/Lapras
The two pokemkn came out of their pokeballs
Ash:Use brick break then Crunch
Krookadile's tail glowed a redish white as it smashed into lapras and its teeth glowed white as it bit into Lapras.
Y/N:Shake it off and use Hydro pump.
Lapras shook krookadile off as it blast a wave of water sending the crocadillian across the field.
Ash:Use dig
Krookadile dug into the ground travelling towards lapras
Y/N:Lapras return
Lapras went back into her pokeball and Y/N sent out his next pokemon
Y/N:Go Hydreigon
The triple headed pokemon was significantly bigger than Cameron's appeared as krookadile came out of the ground but it had no effect due to hydreigon's levitate
