“I see, not a lover boy.” His grandmother spoke, taking another sip of her water.
“I can’t say I love him...I admire, yes, but love is quite strong..God I could even call it an obsession but I’d never call it love.” Hongjoong spoke, though it was sad, he felt better telling someone.
“I understand loving someone romantically is hard, which is why I find it so weird your father seemed to fall in love with your mother so easily.” She spoke, also leaning back in her chair.
“She probably put a spell on him.” She finished, Hongjoong laughing at her words.
“I personally wouldn’t be surprised.” Hongjoong added, both of them laughing together. Once done with their conversations and food, they both split, Hongjoong getting dropped off at his apartment.
“Seonghwa? I’m back..” Hongjoong yelled, expecting a response. He wandered to Seonghwa’s room, opening the door to see the man still asleep. Hongjoong sighed, slightly relieved to see him. He walked into the room, sitting next to Seonghwa on the bed, caressing his head lightly. He then heard the front door open, confusion and fear hitting his body.
“Hongjoong? Are you home yet?” Seonghwa’ voice echoed, his footsteps walking up to his bedroom door.
“Oh there you are.” Seonghwa spoke, Hongjoong turning around quickly and looking at him. He looked back at the bed, the empty spot Seonghwa laid making him uneasy.
“Is something wrong?” Seonghwa asked, looking at Hongjoong in confusion.
“Uh..yeah, no yeah everything is fine. Welcome home.” Hongjoong said, standing and hugging Seonghwa, a confused look still on his face.
“Um thank you..where did you go this morning?” Seonghwa asked, pulling away from the hug and taking off his jacket.
“Um, my grandmother came to pick me up and take me out..” Hongjoong spoke, looking back at the bed.
“Are you okay..?” Seonghwa asked, looking at Hongjoong as he hung his jacket up.
“Yeah I’m fine...perfectly fine.” Hongjoong spoke, his voice trailing off.
“Okay..?” Seonghwa spoke.
“Oh hey how’s your hand?” Hongjoong asked, trying hard to change the subject.
“Oh it’s fine, got it checked out since I apparently did some damage to it, not just cutting it. But it’s fine now.” Seonghwa spoke, showing off his lightly scarred hand, Seonghwa closing and opening his hand.
“What did you do to it..?” Hongjoong asked, lightly taking a hold of his hand.
“I um, kinda just blacked out, stopped paying attention.” Seonghwa spoke, hissing as Hongjoong turned his hand around.
“Surprised I didn’t take my finger off.” Seonghwa laughed out, taking his hand away and putting it in his pocket.
“But it’s okay, anyways how was your grandmother? Did you guys have fun?” Seonghwa asked, sitting down on his bed.
“Oh yeah we did..just got some breakfast and stuff. We had a lot of fun.” Hongjoong spoke as Seonghwa pat his lap. Hongjoong looked at his lap and back up at him, raising an eyebrow.
“Come sit, tell me about your day.” Seonghwa spoke, opening his arms. Hesitantly, Hongjoong walked over to Seonghwa, taking a seat on his lap, Seonghwa holding Hongjoong’s waist.
“So, about your day.” Seonghwa spoke, leaning his head on Hongjoong’s shoulder.
“We just went to eat, hung out at the beach for a while. It was quite fun, I won’t lie.” Hongjoong spoke, closing his eyes as Seonghwa pet his head.
