chapter 4: protect the innocent

I woke up the next morning and got ready. After all three of us got ready we walked to school. As we were walking I saw someone familiar start to trip and fall. I quickly got to her and caught her just as she started to fall.

Kaito: "are you alright sister?"

I asked as she realized that she had fallen into someone's arms. She looked up at me as I smiled warmly to her.

Asia: "oh my, I'm sorry. I'm so clumsy, please forgive me for falling into you."

I smiled as I helped her to her feet, Raynare saw who it was and became shocked.

Raynare: "Asia, you're here early"

Asia saw it was Raynare and smiled to her.

Asia: "are you lady Raynare? I came early because I didn't know what else to do."

Raynare looked scared for her.

Kaito: "so this is the one he is after"

Raynare nodded as Asia looked confused.

Kaito: "Asia if I may, you are new to Japan, is that correct?"

Asia nodded before looking to Raynare and Kalawarner.

Asia: "yes, so far Japan has been lovely"

Kaito: "I'm happy to hear that, if I may I would love for you to join us for breakfast, my treat"

Raynare: "yes, please join us Asia. I need to explain everything to you."

We took Asia to a near by restaurant and sat away from prying ears. Raynare explained what she was truly brought here for and the man who had sent someone to hier her and her group for. They get her sacred gear and he got Asia, I couldn't bring myself to tell Asia that I knew who hired them.

Raynare: "but then Kaito here came along, he gave me and another of my team a second chance. So I beg you Asia, come with us and I promise you that we will protect you."

Asia looked troubled and confused at first. She eventually calmed down and agreed to join us. I had Raynare escort Asia home as i went to school and explained things to Rias.

Rias: "so now you have not only two fallen but an exiled saint as well, you sure know how to pick them."

I sighed as I knew what she was implying.

Kaito: "yes well, everyone deserves a second chance. The true way to peace isn't stooping to petty destruction, it's through fostering kindness and understanding"

I then looked seriously at her which I could tell sent a chill down her and the others spines.

Kaito: "but there are a few whom deserve no mercy and when I see them, that is exactly what they will receive. Rest assured Rias, 'HE' is one of them"

I then walk home leaving everyone in the room excluding Issei in shock as said pervert was extremely confused.

On my way home I noticed someone in a Lolita dress following me. Her attempt at stealth was lacking as her out fit screamed "look at me, aren't I super cute!" None the less I walked onto an empty path and stopped where no one else could hear.

Kaito: "you're not very stealthy in that cute Lolita outfit Mittelt. Come on out and lets talk this out."

I looked forward and saw a blond girl with wavy twin tails, she looked directly at me with her light blue sharp yet playful eyes.

Mittelt: "ok so you spotted me, big deal. What did you do to Raynare and Kalawarner?"

Her cheeks were puffed out, yeah she was pouting. I smiled warmly to her before I explained.

Mittelt: "you expect me to believe that you are the wielder of the sword of darkness? How gullible do you think-"

Jaaku dragon: "ANKOKUKEN KURAYUMI!"

Mittelt looked at me, now holding my sword, her expression slowly shifted form shock to amazement.

Mittelt: "you really are him! Please let me be your retainer too!"

I couldn't help it, she was just to cute to refuse. I agreed and we went home and everything was explained to her.

A few days later Asia and Mittelt joined the school as well and of course I had to instill more fear into the perverted trio, after they tried to hit on both girls. The rest of the school day went on without a hitch. On our way home though, the first of my "show no mercy list showed up to try and take not only Asia but the other three as well.

Kaito: "and what makes you think I would allow you anywhere near those under my protection."

Dohnaseek: "under your protection? Don't be foolish human, you are no match for me. Or any of my kind, I can't see why those three would betray us for some weakling."

I waved The girls to go somewhere safe as I lifted and opened Jaaku Dragon.

Jaaku Dragon: "Ankokuken Kurayumi!"

My sword appeared in a swirl of dark energy.

Kaito: "you know I am actually glad you found me, it saves me the headache of hunting you down."

My Calibdriver appeared around my waist as I held up my wonder ride book to the Ankokuken hilt.

Ankokuken: "Evil read."

I slid the wonder ride book into the slot and grinned menacingly at him.

Kaito: "henshin"

I pressed the button with the pommel of my sword and transformed into Calibur. I then sheathed my sword on my hip holster as I looked at him.

Dohnaseek looked terrified at what stood before him. I pulled the trigger on Ankokuken as I grabbed it once again.

Ankokuken: "Kurayami Iai!"

I then pulled Ankokuken out of the holster and posed as dark energy formed around my blade. In fear Dohnaseek tried to fly away as fast as he could.

Kaito: "you can't escape"

I then swung my blade and thrust it forward.

Ankokuken: "Dokugo Issen!"

The dark energy rocketed at the escaping fallen as he turned to find the dark energy formed a reflection of Anko. The energy dragon bit down on Dohnaseek, in one moment of a dark explosion the fallen was no more.

I de-henshin and we all go to report what had occurred to Rias and Sona. I even explained my "show no mercy list" to them without saying any names other than the fallen I had just slain.

The rest of the day was uneventful as we went to bed.
