"P-Please!" Louis cried, "I don't have any m-money on me!"
There were three men harrassing him in an alleyway, threatening to stab him with the knife one of them was holding if he didn't give them money.
"Yes you do, kid!" The one holding him by the short collar yelled, "it's in one of these damn bags!"
"Alright, alright!" Louis cried, "I-I do have money. But only a little!"
The guy let him down, since he had been holding him above the ground against the wall, but kept his hand gripped in his shirt.
"Where is it, queer?" The second guy demanded.
"T-The sma-smallest pocket in the bigger b-bag," Louis sobbed.
The man pulled Louis' wallet out, taking the fifteen dollars he had gotten from his soulmate.
Then, he threw the wallet on the floor, along with all his other belongings.
The guys who was holding him let him go, and the three of them ran off once they had the money.
But not before Louis was punched in the stomach.
He started sobbing as he grabbed onto his stomach, gagging, as he felt like he was going to throw up.
He breathed heavily, and sobbed loudly as he felt all hope diminish inside of him.
He reached for his wallet, grabbing it and pulling it toward him.
When he looked inside, he started crying harder, seeing that there was only the 69 cents left.
As he was losing consciousness from being so drained of energy, Louis heard a car pull up to him, before a car door was opening and closing, feet waking quickly over to him.
"Are you alright?" He heard someone ask.
"Oh God, the one time I don't have my phone! Hey, can you hear me?"
Louis lifts his head a bit, his crying now silent for the most part.
He looks up at the man, in pain and agony, in loss and helplessness, before he falls asleep.
-
Louis wakes up on a cloud.
Or, at least, that's what it feels like.
He's never felt anything softer in his life than what he was laying on currently.
Opening his eyes, he sees that he's in a bedroom. A big bedroom.
Obviously, the owner of the room has a lot of money, and it makes Louis sad that he'll probably never get to have even his own living space.
He looks around the room. It has white walls, and the space behind the king sized bed is painted black.
There's a few dressers, and a desk with a lamp. Louis can see three doors in the room.
One of them is open, revealing a big bathroom, which is slightly blocked from view from where Louis is.
The second, Louis thinks, is a closet, and is on the same wall as the bathroom.
The third is the door to get out of the room, Louis assumes.
There are other lamps around the room, tall and sheek, and there's a fancy ceiling fan above the bed, turned on and blowing cold air right down to Louis.
