Wretched idiots' humans! Let's release everyone in the wild, that's what the giraffes living comfortably in their nice little enclosure want. How blooming nice that sounds right? "ooooh bubbling brooks and sprawling meadows, Idiotic!"
Sure, the water is fresh, but there are lions! and not the nice ones like there were back home who left you alone. They look at us like we are food. One time I got curious and made eye contact; every single hair on the back of my comparably tall neck stood up. I started shivering, and a strange fear for my existence wrapped over me. I will never forget that moment or make that mistake again.
Also, to drink this water I have to walk really far. Then wait, in the surrounding shrubbery, of long brown trees and rough grass that reaches my knees. We look out for dogs, leopards and what not before we sip from the muddy pond. Oh, and about the allegedly amazing meadows, under the lovely burning sun, with its burnt yellow grass. lovely sprawling fields with circling hyenas looking for the weak and alone. Also, we have to fight to the neck to ensure our group gets nice leaves especially when the females are nearby.
We grew up in a nice place, food was served regularly, water was always available. Sure, the air smelled like sulphur, the water tasted acrid, and the herd of humans everyday all day was a bit crazy, but damn it! it was my place, my air, my water! Ugh, I am disgusted! One of the friends I came here with is acting so strange, when he first saw this place, he started running around like a man with bees down his pants. No care for resultant embarrassment. He has been trying to make friends with the main clique here; always looking down and not making eye contact with the big shot. Whatever he can join them for all I care.Humans and their romantic notions. I'd like to see how they fare when we take away everything they know and throw them in the forest to be "one with nature"
oh my flaming spots! I would like to start my own petition. I don't know what it means, but based on our experience; it is to ask someone to do things they don't understand and don't want to do.
I hope my friend Raja Dulari is doing well. She is a bit shorter than me with a large obscene nose. If anyone finds out about her please let me know through blog or tweet. they are very powerful (apparently one of the reasons we have been "freed"). Plus the few people who watch us all day mention it a lot so if you tweet it, I'll hear it through them. oh well I guess the creepy lions are leaving and we can drink water now.
