Sunday. The 11th of July, most people are either resting or spending time with their families before they work 6 days a week and enjoy this 24 hour rest. But it was different, really different. He dreaded it. He abhorred it. He's getting married to a man he barely even knows!
Right now he was sitting down at a chair doing make up, his suit is already done and cleaned up and placed it on a corner, as he received it this morning before going to the beach, he loved the outcome of the suit, Fransisco was right! The silk suit and socks are really worth it.
"Jungwoo how are you?" Her mother asked as she was also finishing her make up too
"Betrayed, appalled, shocked, what ever synonyms of betrayed in the dictionary add it." Jungwoo said as the stylist did some final touches to his face
"Oh look at the plus side honey! You're getting married, and me and your father won't be worrying to much for your future" she smiled
"You forgot mother, I still have a decency to continue this, since everything is now paid, I only did this because of Lucas paid our debt."
"Jungwoo loo-"
Jungwoo raised his hand to stop the make up
"Can you please leave us for a moment?" Jungwoo asked the two make up artists, and they nodded
After the door was now closed Jungwoo lashed out
"He shouldn't have meddle in to our problem! Now look at it, it looks so shameful in front of his family, we look like gold diggers!" Jungwoo said
"Jungwoo, please" her mother begged
"No! Mother! Our pride is tarnished because of that! And I think you knew that ever since that happened all of our neighbors looked us like as if we are some sort of gold diggers because Lucas always comes back every night to beg forgiveness!" Jungwoo said
"Jungwoo, who cares if they look at us like gold diggers! They do not know the whole entire story. Let them talk what they want to talk, their words will soon bite them back." Her mother said
"Jungwoo, I told you this many times, and I won't tell this again! You both are destined for each other, God Himself had gave you Lucas! Don't ruin your future with him because Lucas's is a good man and it's rare to see that people these days"
Jungwoo was about to refute but her mother responded
"I don't want to hear any of your reasons, you two will be married and that is final!" Jungwoo's mother said
Jungwoo was about to cry but he stopped himself, he didn't want to ruin the make up.
Jungwoo's mother called back the make up artist and continued on with their work
