A Surprising Arrival
Huh. What a pitiful fight that kid fought. Jonathon thought harshly.
Jonathon continued on the dead boy's journey, taking the boy's possessions and burying his dismantled body in the first open grave he found-not that the boy deserved a burial. Sebastian rode on Wayfarer-scaring the horse into submission before mounting. He ran a lazy hand through his hair, groaning when he realized it was died and that the fingers of his were stained the same shade of brown.
Soon Sebastian arrived at the outskirts of Alicante. His sly smile fractionally widening.
He stepped through the wards, granted he could enter because of his Shadowhunter blood.
The energy gathered around him before rushing away again. He rolled his head around its axus, basking in feel of one of Idris's main cities.
Walking to the Penhallow's, he looked around, sizing up the threat of the citizens around him. They were so unsuspecting, so good natured and happy. How it sickened him. He sped up his pace, his quick change of mood powering him. He was better than all of them. Ha! I can't wait to screw with all of them! He mused as he reached the blue house that awaited him. Now this grand house was more his taste he reflected, mounting the steps with graceful ease.
Jonathon grasped the heavy-well, not for him anyway-doorknocker. As the angel-winged shaped doorknocker fell, he heard the echoes of a bell sounding through the house.
Not long after, the door opened, allowing him to see a tall, lithe girl standing in front of him.
Automatically, he plastered a charming smile onto his face, while running his eyes over her luscious body. She would make a good distraction.
"Hello there," the girl said, leaning against the door and crossing her arms across her chest while running her eyes over him as well.
"Hey. I'm Sebastian Verlac." He introduced, holding out his hand, just as Valentine had taught him.
"Isabelle." she said, taking his hand gladly and giving him a dazzling smile. "Let me show you to your room!"
Jonathon thanked her and bent down to pick up the backpack he had earlier dropped, when Isabelle's slim, long fingers gently grabbed his forearm and hoisted him back up.
"No need," she told him before hollering, "ALEC!"
Behind the beautiful girl-Isabelle, he remembered-emerged a similar looking boy that descended down the grand staircase. He had hair as black as Isabelle's, but were very dark, almost black, his were a clear blue. Aah. These must be the Lightwood children.
"ALEC!" Isabelle called again. "Chop! Chop! Get Sebastian's bag up to his room. I'm going to give him the grand tour of the house. Chop! Chop! I don't have all day!" she ordered him, reinforcing her implication by clicking her fingers.
Alec paused next to his sister and gave Jonathon a pointed look.
"Aah..." he murmured to himself, obviously understanding Isabelle's impatience to give Sebastian a 'grand tour'. Alec stuck out his hand. "I'm Alec, remember my name, you'll be screaming it later, just like Izzy."
Jonathon thanked Alec and politely took his hand, nodding his acknowledgement.
"You can come in, you know." Alec advised him. "Not that Isabelle had the courtesy to let you-ouuf!"
Isabelle silenced him with an elbow to his ribs. "Ignore what my brother says," giving Alec a glare as she said so, "But yes, you have to come in!"
Jonathon shouldered the backpack, before either of these childish teens started bickering even more. He stepped onto the polished wooden flooring and took a sweeping a look over the grand room. Comfortable, modern, execute... I can execute in style.
"Here, let me show you to your room." Isabelle politely told him.
Jonathon smiled without malice before following the dark-haired beauty.
