[Next day...]

Sigkin's POV-

I sluggishly opened my eyelids to see the green tea fabric of the tent above me. I sat up and rubbed my tired eyes. I got out of the sleeping bag and soon opened the tent and only saw the dark midnight sky now above me, with the twinkling stars and the bright moon.

I usually don't usually get up so early or late ever since I joined the Anti-Government Organization which was a nice pace to change after a long time.

I wasn't sure what to do now, at least almost all soldiers are asleep by now but I at least have peaceful silence and have some alone time. I walked out of the tent, looking around camp to see if anyone else was awake.

I heard a loud gasp behind me, I turned to see Bachikin holding a bag full of equipment.

"SIGKIN!!! Why are you up so late, bachi???" She asked worriedly.

"Why are YOU getting up so late?" I questioned her back.

"I was just getting the equipment ready for today, bachi.." Bachikin said.

"Well, you should be resting." I insisted.

"You should too, bachi!" She said as she placed the bag with the others.

"I'm not that tired, Bachikin."

"Even if you're not tired, bachi. You should still rest, bachi!" She tried pushing Sigkin back to his tent.

"You should rest!"

Bachikin quickly slipped her arms around Sigkin and was hugging, laying her head on my stomach.

"Please rest, bachi!"

I just stared at her, annoyed.

"For me..." Bachikin's eyes had slowly turned to puppy eyes through her black shades. (Shades sound cooler than glasses. 😎)

"If you sleep, then I'll rest afterward, bachi..!" Her puppy eyes were still there on her face.

I couldn't handle Bachikin's cute- I mean puppy's eyes any longer. "Fine! Let me go, okay?" I said, defeatedly.

"Okay!" She smiled and let go of me.

"Have a good rest" She waved goodbye to me.

I waved back to Bachikin as she was going to her tent.

I entered my tent, and went back to my sleeping bag, staring at the top of the tent once again. I eventually drifted off again, thinking about his encounter with Bachikin earlier.
