Keith sat with a deep bow, finding Steve's emotions to be a consequence for her. Just when Chloire's bodyguard actually escorted her home safely at the order of Young Master Daniel Chloire himself.

"Keith, I'm not going to ask much of you other than what I say." Steve growled, shredding the back mane as he paced back and forth to neutralize emotions. "Since when did you become interested in that young man, huh? Until you decide to go to their residence alone? I don't like that, Keith!"

"Well, it's my fault. I am sorry." Keith replied no less curtly, her own head was already heating up, especially when her conversation with Daniel had been ringing sadly in her two ears.

"I just want you to be safe."

"I know. That's why I apologize. Sorry, I keep worrying you, Steve. "

Hell, no. Keith's pitiful face and weak voice are Steve Chermayn's biggest weaknesses. So there, controlling the emotional pressure and slowly kneeling in front of Keith who was sitting on the side of the bed, Steve began to slowly grasp his wife's hands. A faint sip of his own saliva. "Keith, look," he said hoarsely, gazing out the shade. "Tomorrow is the day of the vampire war. Hearing that you're in danger will only have a huge impact on my mind."

"Do your best. I don't want to lose you," Keith said casually, rubbing Steve's shoulder lightly.

Steve also smiled warmly at that. "Nobles are obliged to attend, but women are still not allowed to join the war. Stay with Mom and make yourself comfortable. Sorry to put you in such a bad situation since it's only been three months since we got married and I—"

"Shhh!" Keith rushed in, placing a forefinger on her husband's lips. "We can get through this. It will be over quickly, you should come back soon and we will have our children too. "

Steve chuckled softly at this. "Ouh, what is this? You make me even more impatient looking forward to many things," he said, suddenly grinning. "How about a round for tonight." Without his consent the man had brought the body up onto the bed and brought Keith into his arms and they were both lying there.

"Hey! What one round?"

"Well, someone's acting innocent here," Steve muttered in a deep, deep voice. "Trust me and hope that I can do my best tomorrow. Okay?"

"Of course." Keith joined in the muttering back, turning over so Steve could only hug her from behind her back. Then both of them were both closed to try to sleep in the midst of the cold pressure in the face of a very long tomorrow. And I also hope that he who is there also can do his best.
