"Oh my god! What happened?"

I think that was my aunt that said that. Then I heard Josh say, or more like yell, " can somebody please explain to us how this happened?!?!"

That's when I opened my eyes. I  could see the sun brightly shining on my aunt's beat red face. She looks mad but still upset, scared, and maybe a little nervous. She is pacing silently a little bit away from me. Then I see Josh and Sam. Josh is standing at the end of my cot bed thing. I'm only a little bit off the ground. Sam was standing off somewhere behind me arguing with some lifeguards.

That's when it all hits me. The voice. The blue glowing thing. The sinking sand stuff. The nearly drowning part. The losing my necklace-

Wait! My necklace! I sit up rapidly and my aunt looks over.

"OH MY GOODNESS OLIVIA!!! You had us all so ok nervous and when they called us I knew I couldn't call Peter so I called Josh and Sam but when we got here you were out cold and the nurses said things weren't looking good but they didn't want to risk taking you to the hospital because it might disturb the blood level and Oh my god Olivia you can Never Ever Ever go swimming alone again!!!"

She said this all so fast that I could barely tell what she was saying. Josh and Sam are also scolding me for going alone but also tell me how nervous they were.

Me and May get back to the apartment and she makes me a midnight snack. Seeing as it is pretty much midnight. Then she tells me to be careful and she heads to bed. I try to watch tv but nothing good was on. I decide to try and go to bed.

I lay there when the thought hits me. Peter gets back in two days. It makes me so happy. But what am I going to say when he finds out about today. I think I'm gonna go up on the roof for a little bit. It will be more calm.

I grab a glass of water and make my way to the roof. When I get there I hear all the traffic but its oddly calming. After a while of thinking the day over, I think of the glowing blue light that went in my hands. Of course,  nobody else knows about it. They think that I just got pulled under by the current.

"What did it do to me?" I ask myself.

I hold my hands in front of me. Then I grab my glass of water. It said that the water was mine. That I was the Water Master. So that means I can control it. Right. I sit over the edge of the building with my feet dangling off. I'm gonna try an experiment.

I pour the water out over the edge. Letting it fall for a few seconds while I set the glass down. Then I hold my hand out over the edge. I feel a weird pins and needles sensation in my fingertips. Then I will the water to come back. I dont demand it like a master would though, instead I allow it to come back as it it belongs with me. Or like it was a part of me.

All of the sudden, I see it come back in a small ball. I let it go up over my head a few feet and then I try something new. I get it to spread out and the I freeze it little flakes. So then I can let it fall in flakes. I let it snow around me.

"Awesome" I say to myself in amazement.

Ok, I think to myself. I can control it, and I can freeze it. What else can I do? I guess I'll have to figure that out later. The sun is coming up and I got invited to an end of summer party.

Originally Peter was invited and not me. But then he convinced them to invite me. And now Peter cant make it so it's just me. But I still want to go because Josh was invited too and he didn't want to be alone.

I walk down to our apartment and go to my room to change.
