he walked back to his room with the scene flashing inside his head. is this the reason why he can't make himself feel too close, too touchy and affectionate to mark these days? he asked himself while his hands are slowly twisting the doorknob, blankly staring at the door.

he noticed jaemin's presence beside him—since the younger's room is just beside his room—but didn't really gave too much attention to him.

"what wrong with you?" jaemin suddenly asks, snapping the tanned male out from his thoughts, "did you got traumatized by the movie or something?" he chuckles but donghyuck didn't even budge from his spot, still trying to unlock the door.

when he finally did, he also went inside, not forgetting to say a small 'good night' to jaemin. he went up to his bed and released a breath he didn't know he was holding.

why can't that stupid scenario won't get out of his head? donghyuck thought, while he constantly slaps his forehead, hoping this will help, "think of something else..." he chants to himself.

just when jaemin is about to unlock his door, he saw a familiar figure walking towards a specific room. his mouth formed an 'o', and a smirk following, "so is that why?" he asks himself.

"what?" mark asks, looking at the younger who's smirking towards him.

the younger shook his head, and let out teasing laughs, "nothing," he replied, "have a good night!" jaemin said, emphasizing the word 'good' before disappearing.

mark didn't think much of it and shrugs it off. he twists the doorknob, his eyes started to feel heavy and sleepiness started to kick in. he then brushes his fingers through his hair before walking inside.

he was greeted by donghyuck sitting at the edge of one of the beds, who's looking at him with wide eyes, "did you saw a ghost or something—"

"why are you here?" donghyuck asks, still looking at the older, dumbfounded.

"what do you mean? we're roommates, remember?" mark replied, walking towards the bed on the left side of the room, near the door. the older, flops his body on his own bed, burying his face in the fluffy pillows. "there are two beds here for a reason."

donghyuck's mouth fell open and started to look around, awkwardly. how can he forgot? jaemin already told him about this days ago. he also did fail to notice the two beds—placed just on either side of the room. mark's bed is on the other side, while donghyuck's bed is stuck against the wall.

he felt mark lifting himself from his bed, sitting at the edge. he started to peel his hoodie off his body, leaving only his white shirt, which's almost too tight on him, catching donghyuck off guard. donghyuck immediately removed his gaze away from mark, shaking his head before he could even think of a not so holy thoughts.

"good night, hyuck." mark said, his voice coming out deeper and hoarse since he's too sleepy, and his eyes are now half-open. he reached for his bedside lamp and turns it off.

donghyuck just nods, not caring enough if mark didn't hear his reply.

great. now he's stuck here with the older. he can't even look at mark for that long or make any eye contact without the scenarios appearing in his head, what more if he's his roommate.

he decided to turn off his bedside lamp too, immediately drowning himself under his thick blankets. maybe if he didn't think much of it, it'll disappear.
