days have finally passed by, so quickly, and their vacation week is about to come to an end. as much as the members would love to stay here longer they also need to do a lot of work because, at the end of the day, they're still idols.

it's currently afternoon, and the sun is just about to set. none of the members decides to go for a swim today and just lay around the house, watching movies and also playing various board games that mrs. zhong gave to them.

at this point, all of them are just laying down on the sofa, some on the ground while watching a random tv show—the board games kind of bore them a bit as they probably played all of the board games in this house.

taeyong came walking from the kitchen towards the living room and looked at his members, "guys." he called, and all of them looked at the male, curious to what he was going to say, "since we only have two more nights to say here, how about let's do a campfire near the beach?" taeyong looked at his members' reactions and all of them seemed interested with the idea.

"like, right now?" johnny asked.

"i mean, why not?" the leader responded and showed them a bag of marshmallows, "i have the marshmallows ready."

all of them gathered around beside the beach, some are sitting on the sand where they put small cloths down while some sat on small logs they found near the beach. currently, the hyungs are trying to light the fire for the campfire, and chenle and jisung on the other hand poke some long skewers in the marshmallows.

and after several tries, the fire finally flame up just a perfect timing for the sun to set.

"is everyone here?" taeyong asked, like the usual leader he is, he always has to make sure that everyone is not left behind. he looked around and just before he can start counting they heard a small scream in the distance.

"i'm here! i'm here!" donghyuck chanted, hurrying to sit beside the members. there he was while holding bottles of water in his hand and made sure to place it down far from the campfire, "these are the only water bottles i can carry." he said in between his chuckles.

"oh hyuckie, you carried these all by yourself?" taeyong asked, helping the younger to carry the water bottles. that's why he came here late. "come on sit with us now."

the younger nodded and did as told. his eyes searched around the members but he instantly saw mark making a space to sit beside him.

"sit beside me." mark said—while patting the seat beside him—not too loud, not too small, just enough for all of the members to hear.

all of their heads turned towards the male, looking at him confused. well, not like there's nothing wrong about it, it's just... odd? it was not very mark lee of a move for them. usually, they'll see mark pushing donghyuck away from him and always making sure that he's five meters away from him but now? he's offering donghyuck a seat? beside him?

with an awkward smile, donghyuck finally sat beside the older, with eyes still on them. "so... w-where's the marshmallows?" donghyuck asked, trying to break the awkward wall around them.
